MAX

He stood outside the school with Kole and lonely boy. Kole had stolen lonely boys backpack and threw it into a big trash can.

‘Please give it back.’ lonely boy begged.

Max laughed at him. The boy was so weak. His begging was so annoying. ‘What are you going to do about it?’ he asked.

Lonely boy only raised his shoulders.

‘You can take it back. It is right here.’ Max pointed at the brown backpack in the trash can.

‘Yeah, go take it.’ Kole said.

Lonely boy slowly walked towards the trash can and tried to grab it, when suddenly Kole pushed him inside. ‘No!’ the boy screamed.

Max and Kole closed the lid of the trash can so he couldn’t get out.

‘Good job!’ the Dark Angel Liam said.

Max smiled at him. He didn't say anything though, he didn't want to let Kole think he was crazy by talking to himself.

‘Why did you do that?’ a girl voice asked.

Max turned around and saw Flinder standing in a grey sweater and white ripped jeans. Her long blond hair was braided. She looked amazing. ‘I will see you in class.’ Max said to Kole.

Flinder was staring at him. ‘Why did you do that?’ she asked again.

‘Because I wanted it?’

Flinder shook her head. ‘No, you don't.’

‘Where have you been?’ Max asked her.

But before she could answer Liam said: ‘You must be Flinder. Max told me all about you.’

‘And who are you?’ Flinder asked. Liam walked closer to her and surprised her by taking her wrist and pulling her close to him. ‘Ah, let me go!’ she screamed.

Max could see in her face she was in pain. Liam was hurting her. ‘Liam let her go.’

Liam let go of her wrist and Flinder just stood there in disbelieve. She was rubbing her wrist.

Max desperately wanted to touch her too. He was jealous of Liam. Oh, wait. He had a girlfriend now. Why was he thinking of Flinder?

Liam walked around Flinder, studying her. His eyes on her the whole time. ‘Just ask me. I know you want to.’

‘What are you?’ she asked.

‘I am a Dark Angel. Instead of praying to the stars, we pray to the dark.’

‘That is not possible.’

‘You don't believe me? Just watch me.’ Liam said.

Liam was standing close to Max with his eyes closed. Max has seen him do this a lot lately, but seeing Flinder's face, he could tell she never seen this before. Liam opened his eyes. They were black. He took a step closer, until he and Max almost touched each other. With his hands he reached out to him, trying to hold his head. Max felt instantly anger flowing through his veins. He walked towards the trash can and started to kick it. With an angry smile on his face, he kept on kicking it, until the sound of scared cries was coming out.

'No! What are you doing to him?' Flinder asked. Max could she her tears, but he didn't care right now. He kicked some more.

‘Please let me out!’ Lonely boy screamed.

‘See?’ Liam asked. He and Max laughed out loud. It was fun to be bad.
