FLINDER How could she be so stupid? Why didn't she know this? Flinder never even heard about Dark Angels. Why didn't she learn about them in school? What else were they keeping from her? It was almost six months since she came here at the academy. Next month was her birthday and after she gratuated she had to choose what kind of Angel she wanted to become. A Guardian Angel, a Healer, a Seeker, a Teacher or a Warrior. Flinder always wanted to be a Guardian Angel, a protector of the himans. But how could she protect them, when there were Dark Angels making them do bad things? Flinder had left Max and Liam and was sobbing in her room. Liam was from her world. He had powers, to make humans do bad things, just like she had by doing good. He had hurt her by holding her wrist and squeeze it. But the she was most scared of were his eyes, his black eyes full of darkness. He was not good for Max. She could feel Max had still good in his heart. She could still save him. Flinder wiped away her tears and stood up. She needed to talk to Angel Georgina. But then she remembered the note left on her desk. Keep your mouth shut and don't let them know anything. Angels were dangerous. Angels kept secrets. Yet she discovered two of them. Flinder knew she was in danger if they found out. She had to keep it to herself. A soft knock on the door made her jump. ‘It's Angel Georgina. Please open the door.’ Flinder looked around. She needed to think for a second. Think of sad things. You're sad, think of sad things. Her family. Flinder opened the door. ‘Oh, poor girl. How is it going?’ Angel Georgina placed her hand softly on Flinder's arm, before stepping inside. ‘I'm still so weak and tired. All I can do is cry. I don't want my classmates to see me like this.’ Flinder lied. Ever since her powers were taken, she lied about everything it seems. When did she become an expert in lying? ‘I can feel your sadness, Flinder. I can see your red eyes. Is there anything I could do for you?’ ‘Ehm, I don't know. I just want to be alone, maybe study some more for my exams.’ Flinder could see a twinkle in Angel Georgina's eyes. ‘You know what?’ she asked. ‘The library is empty all day. If you like you can study there. You are such a good student. I will tell the other teachers to leave you alone today, so you can study.’ ‘Thank you, Angel Georgina.’ Flinder smiled at her and Angel Georgina smiled back. ‘No problem.’ Flinder couldn't believe Angel Georgina fell for her trap. She knew the library was empty on Wednesdays. Only by saying she wanted to study, she got her wish by going there. She just wanted to find out about Dark Angels and Flinder knew there must be some information in the library. Swiping her library card, she opened the door. If only she knew what she was looking for. Walking around, taking books out of the shelfs, reading books, she couldn't find anything about Dark Angels. After two hours, she was tired and hungry, Flinder gave up and sat down on a chair. She closed her eys. Please, power of the stars, I beg you. Help me find what I am looking for. Flinder didn't think it would work, but she had to try. She opened her eyes and she was shocked. There was a large book on a shelf right in front of her and it was glowing. She couldn’t believe it. She ran towards it and took it. Her heartbeat went faster when she was reading the title: Angels of the Dark.
