Chapter 7

Maya attempted to talk to Rylynn until her phone rang, and she had to answer it. She found out that they needed to go out of town to get prepped for the upcoming events that they would be doing once their teams are full, but it was just basically a meeting. They were all packing at their respective houses and would be leaving together in a few hours and would be gone for about a week. Jay pulled Maya aside and told her that she needed to see how she feels about Rylynn and if there is something there, then he would be fine if she wanted to pursue something when Rylynn and he would stay with her no matter what, because he knows Maya loves him. Apparently, Kane is in full agreement with the situation at hand between her and Rylynn, so Maya agreed and finished packing. Jay, Maggie, Kane, Cassie, and now Ivy’s husband Ryder have been bouncing through funds and paperwork and used Maya and Grayson’s information to close on four hundred acres of property that they plan to build a massive house on.

They finally made it to the training arena and were just standing around and listening, until they called for lunch and Maya asked Rylynn to lunch with her. Rylynn agreed, and they left together in the SUV while the others ordered for food to be delivered. When Maya and Rylynn got to the restaurant, they ordered theirs to go and sat in the back of the vehicle together talking. Maya looked up at Rylynn and wiped some food away from her lips and just stared at her. Rylynn was blushing but knew something was about to happen. Maya leaned forward and kissed Rylynn hard and Rylynn leaned into her. Maya moved her to her lap and that hard kiss turned into more than they both anticipated. Then they broke apart and Rylynn freaked out a little bit. Maya managed to calm her down and told her that it didn’t have to turn into anything if she didn’t want it to.

Rylynn couldn’t get that kiss out of her head, because she dreamed of what it would be like to kiss her captain, she knew she had feelings for her but never acted on how she felt. After the training arena, they were all in the dining area together when, all of a sudden, Grayson and Renlee left suddenly together. They thought it was odd but never questioned it. When Maya said she was headed up, Rylynn joined her and once the elevator doors closed, Rylynn kissed Maya hard. Maya wrapped her arms around Rylynn’s waist and picked her up and instinctively Ry locked her legs around Maya. Their tongues are intertwined and Maya slams Rylynn against the wall in a seductive manner, both are craving the other's touch. When the elevator doors open, they snap back to reality, and Maya gently puts Ry down.
