Chapter 5: Collect Evidence

1462 Words
It seemed Peony was trying to hold back the uncomfortable tremors in her chest as well as her slashed heart. After all, she was newly married to Arion and trouble was already afflicting them. Taking her breath and slowly exhaling again, Peony just kept taking pictures of her husband using the camera she was carrying. It was seen by Peony that Arion was making out before his eyes with the man, Arion who was holding the man's face, looked softly and smiled smoothly. Even with himself, Arion never did that. He always put on a straight and straight face, smiling faintly perfunctorily. Peony really couldn't help thinking. The woman snoozed and suppressed the anger that had arisen in her instantly, she was silent for a while. Did Peony not know Arion that closely? Peony tries to contact Arion, wanting to know what the man's response to her is. Did he answer Peony's phone or just leave it as if there were nothing. Arion and his lover were eating alone, when the waiter served, the two men seemed to be chatting and making out discussing something, from inside the cab, Peony felt that he was the one being talked about? But, it's true. “How was your marriage?” the man in front of Arion asked. “yes there you are, nothing special,” Arion replied honestly. “You didn't sleep with Peony?” “You know, right, if I can't sleep with him. I made her my wife just so people don't know that I have another lover.” Arion seemed unhappy about it, when he was reminded why not sleep with Peony. Obviously, she only loves this man in front of her. “You really don't like Peony?” Arion snorted again. “How many times have I said, I don't like it. Why do you keep asking?” Arion looked at his cellphone ringing on the table. Accidentally, the man in front of him also looked at Arion's mobile phone. “Your wife contacted you, Arion,” he said as if emphasizing the wife's word to Arion. Arion sighed again, he didn't want Peony to interrupt his show today, but what could it be for Arion to be too gentle with Peony every so often. Makes the man have to feel a dilemma. “Just pick it up, and otherwise he'll be even more suspicious later,” said Julio, the man in front of Arion at this time. “Ah, why should he bother at this time anyway?” Arion grumbled to himself. “Patience Arion, after all, Peony never knows your condition, and who you are. Come to think of it, all your workers don't even know if you like it--” Julio's words seemed to stop as soon as he saw Arion's view. “There's nothing wrong with that Julio, maybe other people can't accept it yet, but that doesn't mean it's all the same. No.” Arion hates Julio's words the most if he has to discriminate against himself. Then, how is it different from Arion who also likes it? "Ah, all right. Just pick up Peony's phone, who knows if it's important,” he suggested. Arion obeyed Julio's words, and picked up the phone from Peony even half-heartedly. "Hello,” Arion said. “Arion, where are you?” “Outside is eating,” “With whom?” "Alone Peony, why?” Arion looked astonished, why did his wife ask him who he was with? "Oh, I think who was with just now. Just now my friend passed by the direction of your office, and he said he saw you with someone, I thought it was Drake.” Peony's answer made Arion frown confused. “Did I never tell you that Drake never had lunch with me, Peony?” asked Arion to the woman, but Peony shook her head. Realizing that Arion hadn't seen him, he immediately replied. “Nothing, you never told me anything,” Peony retorted quickly. It's true, Arion never told Peony about his work or even his friends. And, his true self, only Peony found out now. “Oh, I'll tell you from now on that Drake never eats lunch or dinner with me if it's in the office or out of the office. We always eat peonies individually, you don't have to worry,” Arion said assuring Peony. However, in Peony's heart was already unfazed by Arion's remarks because her husband was having an affair with a man not with a woman, so this is where she tailed her husband. "Well, then. Have a good lunch Arion,” she said giving his last words before hanging up his phone. “Yes, you too.” Arion hung up his phone directly and put it on the table. Arion shook his head, not out of thought, just to make sure it was all Peony got to the point of contacting him. “What's wrong, Arion?” asked Julio. “Nothing. Peony looks like she's figuring out about me,” he said dubiously. "Why do you say that?” “Peony is as if he doesn't believe me. Although I never really trusted Peony very much. But, at least, I didn't really suspect him to be like this. But, I don't mind either,” Arion said. "So why Arion? Are you uncomfortable?” asked Julio. "Julio, anyone will not be comfortable if they are suspected. Although, I just want Peony not to be too much. Because, if he suspects me, it's only natural. Humans do have to have suspicion.” Arion took a sip of his drink after saying that to Julio. "Arion, are you really not interested in Peony? What if one day you change to love him?” Arion frowned at Julio's absurd question. “It won't be Julio! Don't say that again. You're this, always bringing up things that will never happen.” “I'm just worried that you're actually falling in love with him and leaving me alone,” Julio said, then took a sip of his drink as well. “You don't have to worry Julio,” Arion said, clasping Julio's hand and touching her face trying to calm Julio down. Meanwhile, Peony, who had returned home, was escorted by the taxi driver back home wanting to get all his clothes and leave from Arion's house. She can't live in the same house with Arion, who pretends to love her. It turned out that so many lies the man threw at her, even their marriage was just a mere pretend. “Madam, where have you been?” asked Drake, arriving in front of the house. "Drake? You're here?” asked Peony, not expecting that Drake was in front of his house--Arion's house to be exact. "Yes, Mr. said to take care of the mistress and also to help if there is anything,” Drake argued. He wanted to avoid saying that Arion told Drake to spy on his wife. "Madam, from anywhere?” she asked back. “Why are you so curious? I'm shooting, you know, my job is mostly dealing with art. So, I'm trying to come up with a new idea.” Peony didn't seem to be intimidated or affected by Drake's words, he deliberately showed a photo of the scene he took earlier, when in the taxi. Peony wasn't so stupid not to know what Arion meant by hiring Drake. "Oh, alright then, madam,” Drake said. “Yes, ah, I have a job outside the city for two days. I'll get some things. Said Arion, I will contact him later. You can help me to say it to Arion right, Drake?” asked Peony. Drake didn't understand, why Peony didn't call Arion himself and why didn't come as usual to Arion's office. Although indeed Peony very rarely comes to Arion's office, more often Arion yeah comes to Peony boutiques or meets outside. But, nowhere, did Drake nod as well, obeying Peony's request. As soon as Drake left, Peony put together all her's clothes. She would go with her not so too much stuff because she only brought clothes. Since everything in the mother's house belonged to Arion, it turned out not bad when Arion offered to buy a house and offered everything with the man's money. So, when divorcing or going anywhere, Peonies should not be afraid of the division of property. Peony doesn't have to bother thinking about it later in life. When he was about to push his suitcase out of the house, there was a sense of uncertainty in Peony's heart. There was something heart-wrenching, but he couldn't stay here for long. Soon enough, he ordered a taxi and drove away from Arion's house before all the helpers there learned of his departure.
