Violet woke up just in time for the second period only to receive a message from Kora saying their second class was canceled due to a faculty meeting. She then smiled  She went behind the school building, where there was a playground that looked old—it would actually pass as scenery for a horror movie since it was hidden behind the grass wall with a broken gate. She sat on a swing while opening the scrapbook with the pictures she had before. 'Cause I'm an angel with a shotgun fighting 'till the war's won...' She sang softly since the echo in the empty place made it louder for her. As she flipped through the pages from the very beginning once again, a photo grabbed her attention. Violet immediately took it from between the pages and looked at the guy standing beside her. Below it was a caption written; Mio caro Wait… he looks like the kid from the photo I saw earlier. Violet continued to admire the photo. "Mio caro?"bulong ko sa hangin Violet was startled when she heard the old gate open, making her quickly close her scrapbook and snatching the small knife out of her shoe as she stood up. "Who is that?" I asked calmly From between the two tall grass walls, a man walked past that she wasn’t expecting to see at all. "What are you doing here?" They asked in unison They shared a look at each other, frowning. "Ms. Anderson, this is my spot" He said and sat down on a swing “Excuse you, there was no name written anywhere.” She countered and went to the swing she was sitting on earlier “It has been my spot ever since I was a kid.” He added Violet rolled her eyes “Like I said, there was no name anywhere. If you don’t want people trespassing your so-called childhood place then put up a sign of something.” "I have no intention of arguing, I just want peace for today" He continued to rock back and forth on the rickety swing. He is still wearing a mask so Violet couldn’t really see his whole face, only the upper part of his face is not covered by the mask. He paused for a moment and looked at the photo on the swing between the two of them. Violet had forgotten about the photo she had found between the pages of her scrapbook. "W-Where did you find that?" He asked while pointing to the photo "I don't know, it fell from my scrapbook earlier.” Violet said, nonchalantly and faced him when she saw that he took it. With irritation written all over her face she said “Can you not touch my stuff?” "Do you know this guy next to you?" He asked, but there was a strange tone in his voice She shook her head a little. From her spot she could see a glance of a quick change of his emotion. It occurred for a second and disappeared. Violet didn’t even get a chance to pinpoint what it was. "I do not know him, but I want to know who he is.” Violet sighed and leaned on the chain of the swing “Might be one of the missing pieces to my puzzle.” “It must be sucky not knowing him.” He chuckled She scoffed lightly and shook her head “I don’t really know. I have no memory of him whatsoever. But it would be nice to fully recover my memories.” Violet looked at my watch and saw that it was 6:57 so I took my scrapbook and picture that he had been holding earlier. "It was nice talking to you, but I have to go." She said goodbye and turned away As she was just a few steps away, he spoke again. "I hope you meet him soon." She smiled and nodded before finally leaving him to his privacy. ---- Violet got to her dorm and found it messy so she sighed and simply closed the door to lay down on the sofa. She dropped the scrapbook and turned a blind eye towards the messy area she had. Amnesia really is hard, she knows that now. It hurts the brain. Even if you want to remember the past you can not do it. It will come back, but it is not complete, everything is missing. Hearing scratches on her door, Violet annoyedly stood up and approached the door. She opened it slowly, only to be startled by a dog who quickly entered her room. Wide eyed, Violet quickly climbed to the top of her book shelf and prayed the dog wouldn’t be able to get her there. But the dog was too huge and reached the fifth shelf while she was on top of the sixth shelf. "Mama! Help! There is a dog!" She shouted while trying to push the dog off "who are you, dog?!" It sat down and just stuck out its tongue while looking up at her. It's cute. It didn’t look like it would bite or harm her in any way. So she decided to slowly climb down the shelf and carefully sat on her heels in front of it. The deg then laid flat on the ground, pushing its nose to her knees as if asking for her to pet it. She slowly reached for it’s head and sighed in relief when it pushed its head closer. Violet chuckled and caressed its head as it happily obliged.  That’s when she saw it’s collar. 'Ash Gresion' Violet blinked and exclaimed. Glaze’s pet? "Are you Glaze's dog?" She said with a shrug She stroked its head and it suddenly laid down on her thighs. "Ash?!"  a familiar voice shouted "Where are you?" She stood up and the dog followed behind, poking its nose on the back of her hand, she then went out the door but the dog didn’t want to come out. Violet sighed and frowned as it hid under the bed. Well you’re a stubborn one aren’t you? Violet looked at Glaze who was already turning at the end of the hall. "Glaze!" she called as he turned around "Ash is here!" He ran towards her direction and entered her dorm without even thinking. Glaze frantically looked around, searching for Ash. "Ash?" He called The dog just peeked but did not want to get out of his hiding place "Ash, what is wrong with you? Get out of there." Glaze ordered but Violet just heard him growl Glaze pulled a small photo from his pocket that she could not see, Ash immediately came out from his hiding spot and snatched it away. Before Ash could approach Violet, Glaze got up and took the photo away from him. He stood up but Ash hid under the bed again. Glaze glared and Violet was stunned by his booming voice. "Ash!" Violet got goosebumps on end because of his voice, Ash came out and they both exited the room, Glaze noth giving her a glance. She closed the door and laid down on the sofa. “Finally.” She let out an exhausted sigh She skipped her class to rest, but her free time was shorter now. Oh well. ---- 5:30, and it's already morning. s**t, I slept the whole day yesterday? Violet got up immediately and did whatever she needed to be done. Her usual lazy morning routine. Another sigh escaped her lips when she realized she hadn’t completely unpacked her stuff just yet. Ignoring that, she took a pair of clothes and proceeded to the shower. Finally, she walked out of her dorm to go to the abandoned playground. She was just meters away from the area but she stopped when she heard a very familiar voice. Violet felt her heartbeat speed up for a reason. I… want to know who owns that voice. Then she sprinted fast. I need to know who it is! ----
