Chapter 1.
One beautiful, and bright sunny afternoon, Tamareya,’ a young girl woke up from her usual Saturday nap. She yawned as she climbed out of bed and walked into her library full, a room with large countless shelves of chapter books. Tamareya’ loved reading. It was her norm to read at least a few hours every day, and transport to various wonderful worlds and kingdoms through reading her books.
Tamareya’ grabbed a stepping ladder, climbed on it, and reached up high for one of her favorite books, “The Feast of Many,” a classic Gordon Fairytale. Once she had a hold of the book, she stepped off of the ladder and sat next to the window, where the beautiful sun was shining through and sun-kissed her dark cheeks with love. Tamareya’ read the story quickly, in less than thirty minutes. Afterwards, she grabbed another book and read it. Minutes later, she grabbed another book, and read that one. Tamareya's listened as she stared at each page and quickly flipped through the pages. The whole day had went by and the time had flew, simply by her reading books.
Once the sun had said goodnight, the moon arose and smiled at Tamareya signaling to her that it was time to sleep. Tamareya’ put her stack of ten books back into the library neat. As she gently laid her head on the pillow and slowly shut her eyes closed, the stars harmonized, singing lullabies into Tamareya's ears.
As Tamareya attempted to sleep, she continued waking up every few minutes. It was as if her dreams could not keep her asleep. After trying fall asleep for the hundredth time, she gave up, and walked over to the library. She grabbed a book. She read quietly by the window, next to the stars still singing. As she almost dozed off, a bright yellow light pierced from the corner of her left eyes.
Surprised, Tamareya’ quickly opened her eyes and noticed the light shining from her library. She walked towards her library and opened the door. The bright yellow light shined so bright, that it was difficult for her to see anything. She could not even see her book. In a matter of moments, after trying to pierce her eyes through the light, a random mist of wind pushed on her back, causing her to trip into the room. However, Tamareya's library of books had disappeared and was nowhere in sight. She was no longer home, and was far away in another place.
