Chapter -13

It started to rain again. Poor Bindhu who was being tied under a tree opened her eyes with surprise. Raj's wife Devi took pity on her and brought her inside a cave and tied her hands . Bindhu leaned back and a snail slowly moving over a wet rock captured her attention.

She heard the slashing sounds outside that dominated the sound drops sounds. Inquisitive Bindhu sneaked her head out to know who was that. It's Ravanan again ,this time the weapon he wielded was neither a trident nor naginata. It's a talwar, a sword with a curved blade. The talwar was such a popular and widely used weapon because of it's versatility. Its moderate length allowed warriors to easily wield and maneuver it. Whether they were walking or riding on horseback, warriors could carry the talwar without feeling overburdened.

Ravanan was constantly waving the talwar and his movement clearly showed his mastery in handling a talwar too. Another voice approached Ravanan and it was accompanied with screaming sounds.

"Welcome back kumar, my brother! It's been a long time . Why are you so frightened? Don't you recognize me? I'm Ravanan. Did you forget my face ? Why is your face so dull ? Do you feel tired ? , Ravanan asked his crying brother .

"Kaali ! Go and bring something to eat . Look at our brother face . He is so worn out", Ravanan yelled with a soft voice and wiped the tears mixed with the sand dirt and asked him to sit down and take a breath.

" Are those tears ? From that rock ? ", Bindhu asked herself in shock.

But the other guys eyes were filled with nothing but fear. He was shivering deep down his spines.

Ravanan turned his head and asked his elder brother Raj," Why is my brother is so scared of me . Do I look like an animal ?" .

" When I got shot by the policeman , everyone swarmed around and took me out. I thought the village would be safe in your hands and escaped from the place. But when I came back , this empty-headed Kaali claimed that you abandoned our mother land and ran away. I slapped his soul out for talking ill about you We all came out of the same woman. I knew you wouldn't betray me or our home", Ravanan talked with an truculent voice and placed his hand over his brother's shivering shoulders while Raj and Kaali silently observed them.

Ravanan jumped from his place and grasped Kaali's head and yelled with anxiety," He didn't stop with that, he told me that you were spy. Just tell me that everything Kaali said is a lie and I will discrete his tongue at this place itself in an instant.....uh-huh...say its a lie.....Kumar ? ". Ravanan's eyes gazed into Kumar's eyes for his answer. But his eyes were rolling around in fear.
