Chapter -12

Next person : A brave person as his name indicates. He fights like a real warrior who would be ready to fight even gods.

Person 2: He is a clever and frank person sir.

Person 3: Ravanan is a very kind hearted person who would care about every single person in the village . He is a straight forward and short tempered person. When you see a problem in the forest, you will see Ravanan around the place. Sometimes solving the problems and other times creating problems.

Person 4: An enticing young man and every girl would drool for him.

Person 5: He is a stupid who doesn't use his brain. Yet he is the only person mastered and adapted to all kind of fighting styles. He is a real weapon master who will handle any weapon regardless of its heaviness and length.

Person 6: He is great at donning all the role and a great artist. When he starts talking, he will make us laugh to tears.

Person 7: A very dangerous man sir.

Person 8: He is a god of death in human form sir. Death will be assured if anyone ignites him.

Person 9: Ravana is the only person capable of hunting down a 300kg weighted tiger. He -

"Enough. Enough of it, I feel giddy. Each one has their own tale about Ravana", Bala halted the investigation and kept his hands at his head.

Ragav slowly walked away from the crowd and knelt before a small child who is chewing a piece of sugarcane with her tiny teeths. She was careless about the guns and the officers.

Ragav asked her where was Ravanan's home. The child raised her small and tenderous hands and pointed a small crude house . Ragav headed towards the house in order to search for any clues. He kicked the old house door and it bounced out. All he could get was a small piece of torn cloth . It's Bindhu's cloth piece. He knew that these people couldn't afford for a silk cloth. He tightly grabbed the cloth and sat there for a moment, with his mind wandering about his fiance's condition. He recollected the beautiful memories he had with his future wife and the first time he touched the slender and silky white hands of his fiance. Tiny drops slid from his volcanic red eyes and reached the fertile soil.

Laksman consoled his superior officer.

" Laksman! Bring the dog squad ", Ragav wiped his tears and got onto his feet.

**One of the 18 villages in the forest which is located near a gigantic river.**

After a steady rain the entire forest became moist, wet and cloudy . The rain loving frogs and toads moved here and there and filled the air with happy voices. Due to the lack of air supply in their burrow, worms poped out of the soil. Turtles and fish retreated to lower levels of lakes and ponds, with some seeking shelter under things like fallen rocks or driftwood. Some cold blooded animals stayed at their own place without moving an inch and tolerated the chillness. Water invaded the dry land and brought everything back to life. Ravanan and his men were sitting and relaxing at the river shore. Monitor lizard headed out to ferociously feast on beetle larvae and millipedes.

"Stop it Kaali ! He is your elder and you dare raise your voice in front of me . Is this what our mother taught us ? ", Raj yelled at Kaali in anger .

"Okay ! I'm not going to ask him anything. You are the eldest. Why don't you ask him ? I just want to know why he saved that woman and brought her back. Did he forget our motive ? ," Kaali yelled back and turned his face away from Raj and Ravanan.

Raj, with hesitation opened his mouth. Before he could ask a question , Ravanan said that he knew that she won't die and said that the tree trunks reduced her speed of falling and she survived without any major injuries like a man jumping into the river would get his body's pace reduced without hitting the bottom.

"She jumped from the mountain without knowing she would survive . What an i***t ! ", Ravanan smirked .

Kaali and Raj turned there head and gazed at the poor Bindhu who was tied with the tree. Raj's wife Devi applied the finely made paste of natural herbs and Bindhu shouted like a baby panda in pain with her watering eyes closed .

"Haa ! That explains how you always managed to get down quickly from the falls. Hey Kaali look and learn from the king of this forest." Raj claimed with a broad smile and twirled his moustache.

"Heu..heu. If thats the truth then why did he saved her from the tiger ?" , Kaali questioned again with a annoyed face.

Ravanan stood up and stretched his hands and answered," I don't know. When I heard her voice ,I felt like I need to save her and that infuriating tiger has killed Gopal's son. So I just ended up killing it without a second thought. But don't worry Kaali, we are still at the right path. If I killed her ,Ragav would have crushed our heads like a ground nuts and our life would have ended in his hands. But now the things are different. He must be butting his head against the trees. I want to traumatize him for a year and make him suffer even more ."
