Days have already passed since Rian was brought to the hospital. Her parents and brother arrived the day before. People keep on asking her about what happened but she kept it to herself. Her family and the others understood her but gave her a long lecture afterwards. Lance had stopped visiting her and till now, she didn't get his phone number. She doesn't even know if he has a phone. It was the day she would be discharged and she was so happy to get out of the hospital bed and onwards to the comfort of her own room. She had missed her sister honestly but she knee better than to call her. Rian knew that if Lian would hear anything about her, her day would surely be ruined. She was currently sitting in a wheelchair, waiting for her parents to finish all the things that needed to be signed. Even after all her explanation that she is really fine and that she can walk well, her older brother had refused to and argued with her that she mustn't stand or walk because the wound will open up. She knew that he was just being protective but she thought that it was clearly over the top. It was starting to annoy her. But the one thing that kept her from snapping was thinking that her brother is taking the risk of failing due to absences for her sake. When Rian asks her brother about school and her worries about his absences, the male just laughs it off and says that it is going to be fine but at night, she could hear him talking about his classmates about the lessons for the day and taking up notes of his friend’s discussion. Because of the kindness that he was showing her, she kept on trying to understand that worrywart brother of hers. “So uh... let’s go home.” Her dad announced. ******************** “What the hell are you doing?” The sick and pale man came out of bed to see Kei in the kitchen, tears in his eyes. “What the f*ck is this white thing?! It makes my eyes water. I cant let this thing defeat me and make me cry because of the insolent spicy scent that it bears!!” Kei exclaimed, annoyance in his voice and actions. “How idiotic can you be? Give me that knife!” Lance took the sharp object in Kei’s hand. He wasn't feeling well but he wanted to show off his skills in front of the teary-eyed demon. Besides, how hard can it be? He took a new piece of the circular thing. He held the circular thing in his left hand for support and to stop it from rolling away but in the moment he cut it, a spicy smell attacked his eyes and it began to water. Kei was laughing and crying as well as Lance who couldn't bear its effect. “I searched about that in this so magical rectangular thing thats called ‘phone’ and that devilish thing..!!” Kei pointed out at the circular thing that they desperately wanted to defeat. “Its called ‘Onion’.” Kei said and glared at the Onion that the both feared. Lance repeatedly nodded his head and also glared at the poor onion who did nothing but give away its natural effects. The daily routine of the two was just discovering things from the human realm, making some weapons and being alarmed as to when the heaven would sent out its army to punish the newly-branded demon, Lance for hurting a Human, one of God’s Children. Lance was slowly losing his pure white wings, the feathers would lose its purity and changed itself into the color of darkness. He was very sick. This process was normal and he had to endure it. It was his way of forgiving himself when he hurt Rian. He longed to see her but he was ashamed of his previous actions and it stopped his longings for the female. After the ritual, Kei woke up in Shin’s body, seeing that it had no soul, he can easily changed its looks till it had looked like he originally owned the body. He almost threw his demon friend out because he was too much of a narcissist, saying that he looked more handsome than the angels ,he wouldn't stop ranting about why all the books about demons from the human library had such hideous pictures if them and that he want to kill the authors and artists of the books. Now that he was finally free from Lance, no one would be able to restrain his actions but of course, he couldn't deny the fact that he still had great respect for his previous master. If someone had a demon as their servants, they would immediately give requests, difficult or not and they had to make the impossible possibly but with Lance, all he knew was kindness—okay well maybe some insults and fights right here and there but he guessed that some angels aren't cruel to demons like him. ************* " I know that this is traumatizing for you so your mother and I decided to let you transfer schools, it's name is True Cross High school. So, onwards to America. Next month.” Her fathers words shocked the female. How could they decide that without her permission? Perhaps they were just using that excuse for some business-related matter. “Bu-but Dad...” she tried to argue but it seems useless as her father’s unexpressive eyes went down to look at her. She looked down and went to her room with only one thing on her mind. ‘How do I tell Lance about this matter?’ She cried.
