Chapter 5:Pleasant day

The next day when I woke up I had glimpse of yesterday nights and it expanded its memory. Where did that wolf came from? Is it real or just my illusion? She shook her head and walked towards her bathroom to get ready for school. When came down to hall, she is surprised to see her mom prepared her breakfast and packing her lunch. She used to cook before but after dad left us, Brenda is nothing but a mess.

Carla ignored her mom and went straight to the door. Usually she bought something for her on the way and ate at canteen for lunch. So she didn't bother much.

"Angel!" her grip on the handle froze a moment. It's been ages that her mom called her angle. Why all of sudden she is acting like this? How come her sense get knocked? She turned around to see her mom.

"Take this" she opened her bag and put her lunch. "I made sandwitch for breakfast too. Have some on the way and get ready little earlier from tomorrow so you could eat breakfast at home" she patted my cheek and smiled at me. I gaped at her it's like everything before dad left. I said nothing and went my way.

Everything happening is strange. Yesterday I tried to end my life, want nothing more, felt nothing. What could have happened if I was dead by now. Did mom know that I tried suicide? Is that why she is acting like this? But I didn't told anyone except Jake and am damn sure there is noway in hell he told my mom.

I didn't realise I already reached school until I heard the sound of hall. I sighed and took my phone out. I texted Dr.Boris that I am willing to meet him today evening while I collect books from locker. When I closed my locker I got reply from Dr.Boris that I could meet him after the school in his home.

"s**t!" I didn't realise that some is standing so close to me because of the message and that someone is Martha.

"b***h! how dare you sleep around with my boyfriend" she nudged me.

"I didn't" I had this stern voice like all the time.

"You did! I saw you talked to Jake last night. I saw you left after I came to him and I saw he left behind you and never saw him in the party. Now tell me where were you both last night?"

I got irritated by her accusation. Just because he left her after I left that doesn't mean we were together. He might slept around with some other girl. Just at the time Jake entered and search for someone.

"Hey!" As soon as I shout he looked my way. His eyes were darker today or is that darker always... I don't know. I made my way to him.

"Before you sleep around with someone tell your girlfriend where you are" he looked at me in confusion and looked behind me to Martha.

I know there's going to be lot drama. So I just left them and went to my class.

It's really a smooth day. I didn't bump into anyone that may cause drama and classes are pretty interesting too and lunch came by time flies. As my mom made me lunch I didn't want to go to the crowded cafeteria so I went to stadium and sat there in bleacher to spend my lunch.

Stadium is the most crowded place in our school but not at lunch time. Not even gym trainer will be here at this time. I always wanted to spend time here at lunch but I can't because I have to buy lunch in cafeteria. I wish my mom will make lunch everyday so I could finish my lunch peacefully.

After lunch it went real smooth. I started to panic that something big is going to happen because she never had such a perfect day before. As soon as the last bell rang, she collected her bag and went outside. As I came to the ground someone pulled my hair behind and I fell on the ground.

Martha... sigh... I dusted myself and stand on my feet.

"How dare you turn my boyfriend into me?"

"Look I told you the truth and you didn't believe so I thought it'd be better if you heard it from your boyfriend"

Martha narrowed her eyes. Am not gonna lie but she had this beautiful honey coloured eyes. I gazed into that and I swear it swirled. I got close to her and she blinked.

"What is happening here" I turned to the voice and met Boris.

"And who are you asking?" Martha crossed her arms to chest and challenged him. He looked into her eyes... maybe he saw the swirl? Noway how could iris can swirl?

"Am Amarok Boris and you..?"

Martha looked stunned. She murmured something her eyes wide and her eyes look brighter?

"Who are you?" He took a step forward as Martha took a step back. What is happening?!

"Am Martha Barbora" she gulped.

"Barbora... huh... send my regards to your father" He smirked. I don't know what the deal between them but I never seen Martha this scared not even with Jake.

"You... You are... How... You are not supposed..."

"Come on Carla" I followed him and I saw his car parked at the entrance. He opened the door for me and I got in. Before we drove off I saw Martha stood there stunned, speechless.

"Dr.Boris. Do you know Martha's parents?" I know that's none of my business but am curious.

He lowered bach's piano music... it was my dad's favourite. One of the things I felt comfortable with him was he had the same music taste as my dad.

"I just know them not so close" he drove to his house.
