Chase’s POV.
“Keep her here and make sure Shannon doesn’t run.” I say to X-Ray as I turn and run from the infirmary with my brother’s behind me.
I pull my phone from my cut and call TJ. Bear is calling Katie. Stinger is calling Maria. Beard is calling Ruby, but no one is answering.
My heart is pounding so hard in my chest I fear it will burst free. I run to my bike and straddle it. Realising I don’t have the keys.
“Take mine, I’ll follow in the van,” Stinger says, throwing me his keys and I move to his bike and straddle it and roar out of the lot with my brother’s behind me.
We race to get to the apartment building. My thoughts racing with everything that could have happened and none of them were good. I shift gears and fly as fast as I can on the bike to get there as fast as possibl
