Chapter Twenty Six
Tonight’s the decade dance. It was a relief that the exams were over. I am here now in my room, preparing for the dance. I have Cayden with me since he would be the one who will do my make up.
“Hey, have you dressed already?” Cayden asked behind my bedroom door.
“Wait up!” I shouted.
I looked at my outfit. I was wearing a baby blue button-front shirt with a red waist belt and black skinny jeans. I wore white lace-up shoes. I also have a red silk scarf around my neck and a white wrapped headband on my head.
I fixed my blouse first in front of the vanity before I opened the door. I saw Cayden with his white long-sleeved button-down shirt and suspenders.
“You looked good,” Cayden praised with a smile.
I rolled my eyes at him. He just chuckled at
