The Alphas Miracle

Chapter 6

Nicole’s POV:

I remember Blake died, but who killed him? I remember a man coming to me, and I remember another man saying he was my mate. He smelled so good. Was it possible? The machines beeping got louder and it started to annoy me. I tried opening my eyes and I shut them just as fast. It was too bright.

“Lynn! She’s waking up!” I heard someone say. I heard footsteps and they came right up to me.

“Hold her hand, it might help her.” The woman’s voice was so calm, it made me feel safe. Then I felt the sparks and my eyes shot open. I cowered away immediately, I didn’t know who these people were.The man grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

MATE! He is our mate Nicole! He saved us!

Poor Sky, he was going to reject us and I didn’t know who it would hurt more. He was an Alpha and that terrified me. I know how John was, and I didn’t want to be apart of something like that.

“Please just reject us so we can go on our way. I know I’m not worthy of you. I’m not worthy of anyone.”

No! He will not reject us! He can’t!

I cried as I spoke, but it was the truth. I had everything taken from me and I knew he would think I was ruined.

Evans POV:

Nicole broke my heart when she said that. She said she was worthless, I knew she was everything I wanted and needed. Seeing Selene made that clear. I never planned on rejected her. I had searched for her for so long, I wasn’t letting her go.

“Nicole, I would never dream of rejecting you. I’ve been looking for you for a while.” I tried to be as calm as possible. She looked at me with confusion.

“But why? I wanted do save myself for you and I’m ruined. He took everything from me. From us. I don’t deserve you.” She was crying full tears, “Please, if your going to reject us, just do it now. Please!” 

She was almost screaming at me and was starting to shake. I grabbed her hands and rested my forehead on hers. She inhaled and paused, thinking I was going to reject her. I couldn’t resist the sparks that flew, I lifted her chin up and kissed her.

Nicole’s POV:

He just kissed me! I don’t even know his name. He must want to keep me around to help him out. I needed to escape. He was going to hurt me, I knew he would. No one ever cared for me, I know he was my mate, but that didn’t matter right now.He looked at me and just smiled. Then he kissed me again! Sky took over and kissed him back.

Sky!

What? You weren’t going to do anything. And our mate is sexy and he wants us. Don’t you want him too?

I am not ready for this!

That’s you, not me.

She pushed me back and kept kissing him. I fought my way back and scolded her.

“Damn, guess you are happy to see me,” my mate said.

“I’m sorry, that was my wolf, she’s more excited then I am. I’m just scared. I’m sorry.” I wanted to be submissive, not to cause any trouble or make him mad. He simply giggled and took my hand.

“My name is Evan, Evan Green. I’m Alpha to the Blood Moon Pack. Have you heard of us?” His voice was like a song, I didn’t want it to end.

“Yes, and I know your reputation as well,” I paused thinking carefully about what to say next. As if he knew, “I don’t want you to hesitate when you want to speak. You are my mate, your words will always be valuable to me, even if I disagree.”

“Okay, fine. First question, how old are you?”

“I am twenty three.”

“And wolves find their mates when they shift at sixteen, correct?” He looked confused, “Well yes.”

“Okay then. Your pack came to ours two years ago and I was there. Why didn’t you find me then?” He looked surprised, as if he hasn’t thought about it.

“I have a hunch, and I think it has to with your injuries from a few days ago."”I was hurt a few days ago? Was that I woke up at my pack hospital with John?" Evan could tell I was confused and called in a woman named Lynn.

“Hey sweetie, happy to see your finally awake!” She seemed pretty excited to see me alive.

“Lynn, she doesn’t remember what happened when you and James found her,” Evan said.

“You found me? Where?!” I screamed, I don’t remember what the hell happened and I have already been around his pack.

“Well, my husband and I found you along the river between our territory and your packs. You were bloody and bruised with multiple broken bones. We took you to the hospital and the next day you were fine like nothing happened. Well until, yeah.” Lynn dropped her head ashamed.

“It’s okay, you didn’t know what was going on.” I tried to make her feel better.

“What’s your last name if I may ask?” Lynn asked curiously.

“Kade, why?” As I said my name, she jumped up and ran out of the room.

“I’ll be right back princess, I’m needed in the other room,” Evan kissed my forehead and walked out. What kind of dream was I in? Yesterday I was being beaten and tortured and today and being doted on like royalty. Evan and Lynn came back in the room and Evan took my hand.

“Well princess, seems like someone doesn’t want you to exist. Do you know why?” I was lost, what did he mean?

“What do you mean? I’ve always been apart of the Jade Moon pack.”

“When you were knocked out, I went into the database and looked up your pack and first name. There were a couple Nicole’s in your pack and I went by birthday guessing how old you were. But your last name isn’t listed on here.” Lynn said concerned.

“Hang on. Let me get James,” her eyes turned a hazey white and I knew she was linking her mate. He came in about five minutes later.

“Sweetie, Nicole’s last name is Kade. You and Micah Find out what you can on it. Let me know, find everything you can. Something is fishy.” He nodded, gave her a quick kiss and exited the room.

“Nicole, do you know if your Alpha had any connections with witches or magic?” Lynn looked curiously. Then a light went off in my head.“Now that you mention it, I know there was a witch in our pack once upon a time, but she made a deal and left the pack a few years ago.” I was trying to remember, it I realized I was missing pieces of my memory. I started to panic.

“Nicole, baby, breathe, we are right here. Everything will work out,” Evan said and he stroked my hair. I still cowered from him, but I was getting less anxious. They seemed like they really cared. A knock at the door was all it took for me to nearly jump out of the bed. Evan stood up to get it and I finally took in his appearance. He was at least 6’6 with wavy black hair that fell right below his eyes. He had piercing green eyes and covered in tattoos. He was built like a Greek god.

Lord Nicole, get ahold of yourself.

Can I get ahold of him while you work your internal problems out?

SKY! Calm your hormones! We are in the hospital!

Can you blame me? Look at him, and besides, I’m part of you, so your thinking it technically.

WHATEVER!

I pushed her back and saw another man came in the room. They were all staring at me and a few chuckles came from Evan.

“Arguing with your wolf?”

“Yeah, she’s dealing with this a lot better then me, I’ll leave it at that.” I laughed at myself and a smile almost escaped my lips. The man that came in the room approached the side of the bed and held out his hand. I shakily took it and he kissed it, receiving a growl from Evan.

“Luna, I’m so pleased to see you awake and well... I’m sorry I didn’t get to introduce myself at the hut, I was a little busy.” The man said while grinning. 

“My name is Micah, I’m Evans number one tracker and spotter. I’m who killed the wolf who assaulted you.” I started to cry again, but this time they were happy tears.

“Luna, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you...” I cut him off before he could finish.

“It’s not that, I just haven’t had anyone care about me like this. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but for right now. Thankyou. All of you.” Lynn and Micah bowed their heads and left the room. Now it was just me and my mate.
