Chapter 9

Nicole POV:

Ellie’s father was furious. He threw the door open and was cursing everyone, including his own Alpha.

“What the f**k is going on here?!” He yelled.

“Father, he is my mate.” Ellie said with her head down. Eddie immediately pulled her behind him.

“You told her she didn’t have a mate? Why would you tell your own child that?” I asked as calmly as I could.

“You don’t get it, your stupid just like all women. She killed my mate, not that she was anything special. But she took away everything from me. Why should she deserve happiness?” He explained. He didn’t even care.

“I’ve heard enough.” Eddie chimed in.

“Actually boy, she’s my kid. And until she’s 18, I can do whatever I want.” He spit at Eddie as he spoke.

“Okay, that’s enough!” I yelled.

“Actually, I think we’ve all heard enough.” Evan spoke out. He looked at me with caring eyes asking what I wanted to do.

“Take your other daughter and her mate with you tonight. You’ll be sleeping in the dungeon.” I paused and looked at Evan. He smiled and nodded.

“Yep, dungeons sound good to me. Get him out of my sight.” I said with confidence. Micah and another guard escorted them all down, not to be seen til another day. Evan squeezed my hand and when I looked at him, he had a smile of adoration. I glanced over at Ellie who was still cowering behind Eddie.

I was grateful that she had him.

“Eddie, can I speak to you for a moment?” I asked.

“Yes ma’am.” He said as he walked my way. We stepped into the kitchen so I could ask him some questions.

“When did you find out she was your mate?”

He held his head down with a frown, “I found her 4 months ago when her father finally let her come to the pack house. He had kept her away I guess at his house. Soon as she came through the door, I smelled her. But I don’t know how old she is, so her wolf may not be there yet.” He responded.

“I see, we’ll I have Micah finding out whatever he can about her and her birthday.” I smile at him.

“I’m just happy you finally found your missing piece. I hope Micah does too.”

“Is there anything else?” He asked.

“Yes actually, my birthday is tomorrow and according to Sky, we will shift. And I’m scared.” I admitted.

“Nicole, I’m going to be honest. When I first saw you in that hut, I didn’t know how strong you would actually turn out to be. I thought you were a submissive girl who let anyone walk on her. But you have truly came to light now that you have Evan. It’s crazy how having your mate completes you.”

I simply smiled at him and started blushing.

He’s right you know?

Yes Sky, I know.

Evan is the best mate we could have asked for. And tomorrow, we will be the best wolves in history, I can feel it.

Calm down Sky, it’s just a normal first shifting.

Well I guess I know things that you don’t.

Like what? Sky you have to tell me.

You will find out tomorrow.

She retreated back to the back of my mind and took a nap. I turned to Evan who was going over things with Ellie.

“You are more then welcome to stay here with us. Or you can stay with Eddie. It’s fully up to you.” Evan said.

“If it’s okay, I would like to stay with my mate.” She replied with her head down.

“Look at me.” Evan stated and waited. Ellie looked back up at him.

“You are part of this pack, and your one of my truest friends and trusted partners mate. You are family. Do not ever feel scared or that you can’t speak freely here.” He said. “I do things differently then most Alphas.”

Eddie squeezed her hand and scooped her up bridal style.

“Goodnight Alpha, and Luna, Thankyou again for this night. I feel like I’m finally free.” Ellie said as she went up the stairs being carried away.

I grabbed Evan from behind around his waist and snuggled into his back. He wrapped his arms around mine and we just stood there for a minute.

“You know, the reputation you have is a deception. Your a big softy.” I said, lovingly nudging his shoulder. He turned around and planted a huge kiss on my lips.

I reciprocated and opened my mouth slightly, deciding to invite his tongue inside.

He slipped it in between a peck and our tongues danced around for dominance. His lips were so soft and I wanted to be stuck in this love embrace forever. I wrapped my hands around his neck as we deepened the kiss. He slowly moved his hands and squeezed my bottom. I moaned slightly into his mouth and I heard a low growl escape his mouth. He squeezed harder and lifted me up, still in mid kiss. I pulled back and looked at him with soft eyes.

“We don’t have to do anything, I don’t want you to feel pressure.” He said.

“Honestly, I’m ready. Well as ready as I will ever be. I’m falling in love with you. I want this.” I paused. I whispered in his ear, “I want you.”

His eyes turned dark and he whisked me away upstairs.

We finally reached his door and he still hasn’t put me down yet. I could feel my nerves starting to creep up. As if he knew, he spoke softly to me.

“I’m going to say again, we don’t have to do this. Not yet. I know you went through hell, and I don’t want to make you feel any different.”

I swallowed the fear and gave him another kiss. I didn’t need to say anything, he knew deep down I wanted this.

He walked over to the bed and laid me down gently. I laid there for a minute as he looked at me up and down, his eyes filled with lust, but also admiration.

“I’m going to start slow and we will let things happen naturally. Deal?” He asked.

I nodded, not being being able to swallow the knot that had formed in my throat.

He grabbed my legs and pulled me toward him and my legs were hanging off the bed. He started rubbing my feet and made his way up my legs and starting pulling off my pants. My body started to tense, knowing he would see all the scars and turmoil my body had taken from my abusers.

As if he knew, he grabbed my hands and pulled me up to where I was standing. He lifted my hands up and pulled my shirt up and off my body. I looked down and put my arms over my chest.

“You are absolutely beautiful. Don’t ever hide yourself from me. I love all of you.” He said as he went in for another kiss. He slipped a hand behind me and lowered me back down to the bed. I wrapped my hands around his neck and fought for dominance in his mouth. I was so sidetracked I didn’t even notice his hand slip in my panties. I felt his fingers slip between my folds and a gasp escaped my lips.

“Tell me if you want me to stop.” He said in between kisses.

“Don’t stop, I’m okay.” I replied.

He responded by slamming his lips into mine again and he pushed a finger inside me. I moaned slightly and he ina teased his speed. I could feel heat starting to rise inside my belly. I had never felt good while doing anything intimate.

He slipped in a second finger and pushed further into my core. I could feel my body starting to tremble from pleasure. I never felt this way. It was pure euphoria. I wanted more.

“I want you, all of you.” I moaned in his ear.

“Are you sure?” He said as he thrust his fingers in me again.

“Please Evan.” I was begging at this point. My body was in full control now.

He positioned himself on top of me but kept moving his fingers. He started kissing my neck and licked the spot where he would mark me.

“I won’t mark you until you shift. But I won’t stop teasing you.” He whispered my ear.

He kissed me again and he pulled his fingers out.

“Your so beautiful baby.” He said as he positioned himself at my entrance. I braced for the pain but it never came.

He gently went inside me and I adjusted quickly to his size. I didn’t see it but I could feel he was large. He laid there for a minute allowing me to get comfortable.

“You feel amazing Nicole.” He said and he leaned upward.

“Oh Evan, please.” I said, and before I could say anything else he thrust all the way inside me. I screamed out in pleasure, not expecting it to feel good.

“Go faster. Please Evan.” I begged.

He continued and increased his speed. He turned me on my side and got in the spooning position. He thrust into me from behind and held my body close. I could feel myself ready.

“Don’t c*m until I tell you. Can you do that?” Evan asked.

“I don’t know if I..” I was cut off by him pushing in my again.

“Evan please!” I yelled. He started going faster and I could tell he was close.

“You wanna c*m? c*m baby. c*m for me.”

We both unleashed together and he laid there with me still in his arms. My body was exhausted.

“That was amazing baby,” he said as slid out from me. I turned over and I couldn’t hide the redness of my face. But I was so tired, I couldn’t even get up.

Evan lifted my body and took me to the bathroom.

He ran a hot bath and placed me in. I slumped in the water, letting it relax all my muscles that I didn’t know I had. He left me for a few minutes, returning with silk pajamas and water. Once I was done, he helped me get dressed. He never once let me do anything by myself.

After I was clothed, he picked me up bridal style and took me back to the bed. He slipped in with me under the covers and pulled me close.

“I don’t ever want this life to end. I love you so much,” I said as I kissed him.

Evan replied with a kiss. “I love you Nicole, with every ounce of my being. Now try to get some sleep. It’s a big day tomorrow.”
