They Met Again

"What are you doing here?" Maxine asked as she felt annoyed.

"Are you not happy to see me?" Topher replied as his face suddenly began to feel bit sad.

"No, now go away!" Maxine shouted and went to the staff room, and everyone at the coffee shop looked at her.

After what scene, Topher chose to leave the coffee shop after he got his order and give Maxine time to breathe for what just happened.

Maxine's POV

"What the hell, what he is thinking about? why he suddenly appeared out of nowhere after what have they done to me. They abandoned me! now he is coming back to see me like nothing happened?"

It is hard for Maxine to move on after what Miggy and Topher did to her; she believes that Miggy and Topher betrayed her and abandoned her, like they didn't even tell her about the adoption. After Miggy and Topher left the orphanage and Maxine found out about it, Maxine refused to eat for a whole week, and she had been depressed for a month. For Maxine, Miggy and Topher were the only friends she was close with; she never made friends with other kids at the orphanage.

After Maxine's shift, she goes straight to her school to attend her classes, and suddenly he bumped into someone but unexpectedly...

"What are you doing here? are you now my stalker?" Maxine said as she annoyed seing Topher.

"No, I also go to this university. I am rich now" Topher respond.

"Oh yes! I remember, you have been adopted by a rich woman and didn't even planned to inform your friend a long time ago that you are going to abandoned her before leaving!" Maxine said as she felt annoyed and mad at Topher.

After the scene, Topher decided to annoy Maxine for a whole day.

After Maxine's first class, she decided to go to the library to finish her requirements and her schoolwork, and suddenly someone whispered in her ear,

"Watcha doing?" the guys said as he whispered.

"What the heck! what is wrong with you?" Maxine said as shouted and look behind as she got surprised and nervous.

"I'm sorry, what are doing in here?" Topher asked.

"Isn't that obvious?" Maxine said as she felt annoyed.

"Can we talk?" Topher asked as he beg.

"We are now talking." Maxine said.

"I mean, can we talk about what happened long ago? We didn't leave you," Topher said.

"Really, you literally abandoned me, and you didn't even plan to tell me that you two are going to be adopted by a rich woman; you don't even think about me!" Maxine said.

Maxine immediately took her belongings and quickly left the library.

For a whole week, Topher still decided to annoy Maxine, but Maxine tried to avoid him all the time she saw him.

And one time in the hallway, Maxine was casually walking, but suddenly someone bumped into her with the skateboard.

They both fell to the ground, while the guy was on top of Maxine, and for a second their eyes stared at each other, Maxine starting to blush and feeling butterflies in her stomach when suddenly the guy spoke.

"What is wrong with you, woman! are you blind?" the guy angrily said.

"What? me? "You are the one who actually bumped into me." Maxine responded as she felt annoyed at the guy.

"Maxine?" the guy randomly recognized her.
