(Alex’s POV) Thankfully, we were released the next morning. Doc Helena was thoroughly impressed, too. She said someone with my burns and April's severe smoke inhalation would normally be in the hospital for days. Even being wolves. But, we were all healed and April seemed like she was finally awake and alert. Doc did caution us to take it easy for a few days, which I had no problem with. Though, the minute we were out of our room, April was off and heading towards the children’s rooms. We spent two hours visiting the little guys. It was actually fun. The kids were doing great. Most of them were actually cleared to leave the hospital, but since there was no place for them to go, Dad asked if they could remain there for a couple of days while Mom turns the banquet hall into a makeshift
