(April’s POV) When I heard Austin telling Uncle Wyatt about his friend’s situation, my heart went out to him. I could tell he was hurting, and I didn’t blame him. I offered Dad to stay and help but Dad wanted to come along with us, so I didn’t argue. Though while they were reorganizing things, I went over to Austin. “Hey, Bro. You alright?” “Yea, I’m fine. Just concerned for Dee and his Dad.” I could hear the worry in his voice even though he tried to hide it. “Yea, I figured. Listen. We don’t have to go. We can do this later, or even tomorrow.
