After we had a good long talk with our mates, we grabbed some food. When we went up to visit Mom, the gang walked with us. I wasn’t really surprised, though. Our gang was the best group ever. I don’t think I’ve ever felt alone or unloved thanks to them.
Before we went into the room, Winter came over to Conner and I and said, “In a way, you guys are just as much my brothers as April is my sister. We may not share blood, but we did sort of share a Mother. I want you to know that she wasn’t always mean to me. I can remember some of those first five years and she was always so nice and loving.
