(Alex’s POV)
I think we all needed that little bit of rest. I know I did. April slept the entire time, even when I was moving her. Uncle Ty tried to help but as soon as he took her so I could get up, April began to stir. Mom and Aunt Crys laughed as Mom said, “some things just never change”.
Now, when this is all over, April and I have a standing date with Mom to look at her old videos of us as babies. Our parents insisted April and I were like this as babies, too. I’ve never heard of that before, but with us I suppose anything is possible. Dad said he thinks our wolves knew even back then we were mates, they just didn’t understand the pull. I can’t wait to see April as a baby, though.
