On the way back, we discussed what might've been the meaning behind that cryptic message a bit, but we had no real ideas to go on. I didn’t want to say it, but I wonder if Elder Scott might be behind it. I mean, what better way to chase away Uncle Tyler than to scare or threaten his daughter? Which is why I was keeping that thought to myself. I didn’t want Uncle Ty thinking April wasn’t safe here. Not that he could take her away from me at this point, since we'd marked each other, but at the moment no one outside our little group knew about that yet. Or so I thought.
