(Alex’s POV)
“Elder Leo… Let’s take a little break and meet back here in two hours. This way, everyone will hopefully have their thoughts and questions more organized.” I said as I looked over at my Dad, hoping he would help me out here.
I was desperate to follow April out of the room, but I couldn’t just leave everyone in here to yell at each other. Dad caught my look and nodded to show he understood before clearing his throat and saying, “I actually think that’s a good idea. But remember, this stays between us. When you leave this room you are not to speak about any of this. Even with each other. Take a little time to get your thoughts in order and we’ll meet back here at four o’clock. Afterwards, we can all go enjoy some BBQ.”
Everyone nodded and Elder Leo smiled compassionately at
