So here we all stood. Gorn finally turned to face us again and all I could think was, ‘dude, I coulda killed you at least a dozen times by now and no one woulda been able to stop me.’ But I kept that thought to myself even when Raine laughed and said, Max just said the same thing! He’s all excited about getting to fight. Silly wolf.
I had to stifle a laugh at that which made Gorn ask, “Do you find this all funny, human?” I just rolled my eyes and said nothing, which annoyed him. I could tell by the way the spot between his brows kept getting those tiny wrinkle lines you get when you're trying hard not to frown, but your eyebrows don’t get that particular memo.
