When I woke up, I was in a room with everyone around me. For some reason, April was in a bed as well and when I saw that, I had a moment of panic until they told me she’d given blood. I wasn’t happy she was taking such a risk, but I was grateful. She just kept reassuring everyone that Doc Helena had checked her blood count before letting her donate and she was fine.
The last thing I remember was Jeremy telling us all through a mind-link that they thought my parents had been given poisoned cookies. As soon as he said it, I knew where they came from.
