When I got the call about the orphanage, I immediately got up and went to Alpha Corvan to let him know I’d have to leave. This meeting had been kept hush-hush after what happened a few months back. We hold these conferences every three or four months but we really only do alliance renewals once a year. The other conferences are to discuss things like problems with rogues and such. That’s what this one was about, rogues.
So it wasn’t a big deal that I had to leave so early. Unfortunately, Corvan wasn’t an easy man to track down and when I did, he was in a private meeting with Alpha Egon of Golden Sunrise. I wasn’t happy having to wait, but thankfully, Lilly and our warriors were already waiting for me outside once I was done meeting with Corvan.
