(Alex’s POV)
I thought Uncle Tyler was gonna pass out, Aunt Crystal almost did. She let out a loud gasp and Mom made a mad grab for her before she could slip from the edge of the bed onto the floor. Dad had to pick her up and lay her down by April while the guys and I tried to snap Uncle Ty out of the trance he'd fallen into.
Mom was quietly crying by this point. Mom doesn’t usually cry, especially not in front of other people. But this was just too much for her to take in, I guess. How could someone get April’s blood and her or her parents not know it? She must've been listening because she answered out loud for everyone to hear.
“That’s the thing, Zander. I don’t think it's actually my blood. That’s why I asked if anyone thought of having it tested. I think maybe it’s Kyle’s.” I fe
