(Alex’s POV)
Did I just hear right? All I could do was blink in shock. She loved me? She loved me!
Had I imagined that? Maybe I fell asleep in my room and this whole thing was just a dream. A freakin' awesome dream! “Alex? Are you alright?” Her soft voice brought me back.
All I could do was grin. I was as giddy as a kid at Disney World. “I’m better than alright! I’m the happiest man in the world! And it’s all because of you!” I knew my voice was loud and excited. Didn't care. I picked her up, spinning her around as I spoke and she giggled happily the entire time. I was just settling her back down when we heard laughter again. Now it was moving away from us. Musta been guests.
