(Narrator’s POV)
The night went by slowly but there were no more issues with Penelope or even Allison, other than a few glares here and there. April finally met Michelle, Aubry, and Marie. The girls hit it off nicely. They were talking about going shopping tomorrow when the guys were called into the Alpha’s office and didn’t come back for over an hour. April was beginning to worry something was wrong.
After another fifteen minutes or so, the guys came back and seemed fine, so she finally relaxed. Shortly after that, they disappeared into Alex’s suite to play games and hang out. April was so tired from the events of the day she wandered into his bedroom, cuddled up with a soft, warm blanket on his sofa and drifted off to sleep.
