Sold to the Ruthless Alpha

It was a beautiful morning, and I was already dressed up to go and see my best friend. I just returned from my aunt's Pack last night, so today I have to be with my best friend. She had told me of something she would like to show to me, so I better not miss them. "Naya are you going somewhere?" Mum asked immediately if she saw me walking down the stairs. "Yes mum, I'm off to see Laura, we have some catching up to do today." I responded to her with a smile plastered on my face, but then she didn't return the smile. "Naya, come over here." Mum called to me, and I sighed softly, as I stared from her to dad, who was seated beside her calmly, and somehow I felt weird within me. "Is there something wrong?" I asked, as I walked closer to where there were both sitting on the couch, while staring at their faces which hold no emotions. "No, there is something we would like to talk to you about, but first sit down." Mum said, pointing to an open space on the couch where she was seated with dad, making me feel even more strange, because I could tell there was something wrong, but I managed to go closer and had my seat. "Okay, I'm seated now, so tell me, is there something wrong? Did anything happen?" I asked them curiously, as I couldn't take my glances from them, and just then dad cleared his throat. "I'm sorry dear, but you would be getting married in a day,to the Rogue Alpha." Dad finally spilled the beans. "Dad, I don't understand, what are you talking about?" I tried to get it clear, because I wasn't really understanding what he was trying to tell me. "Yes dear, we sent for you because we wanted you back here to get married to the Rogue Alpha in two days." Mum said, making my heart shrunk immediately. "Mum, how can you say something like this to me, how can I get married to someone I have never met before? and someone who isn't my mate?" I asked, as hot tears clouded my eyes, as I was still finding it hard to believe what she had just said to me. I was thinking she was going to tell Dad to not do something like this, but surprisingly she was in total support of Dad's decision, and she is even the one empathising with it the most. "This Pack is going to be attacked by the Rogue Moon Pack, and we are no match for them, so as the Alpha of this Pack I can't allow something like that to happen." Dad pulsed on his speech as he glanced at me, before he finally continued. "I heard that the Rogue Moon Pack Alpha is looking for a random woman to make his Luna since he hasn't been able to find his mate for so many years now, and he has finally give up, so I decided to grab the opportunity and save this Pack, and the best part was that he also offered a huge some of money." He concluded his speech, and I gaze at him immediately. "Dad, how could you use me in exchange for your Pack? Don't I worth more than this Pack and even the money he is offering? Don't you even care about my happiness?" I cried, as I couldn't stand it anymore, and just rose to my feet. "I had to grab this opportunity, because it's what is best for this Pack, and even you, besides it's not like he was going to kill you there, you should be happy that you are going to become his Luna, and not a slave there." Dad said, making me gasped. I turned to my mum for support, but she just sat there without saying anything, making me even more Furious. I couldn't stand seeing the both of them, so I just quickly ran out of the house. Honestly I couldn't believe that they were just selling me off to the Alpha all because they wanted the Pack to be safe, and because of the money he was offering, despite how bad they knew he was. I thought, while my tears poured down my cheeks as rain. I finally arrived at Laura's place and I was also welcomed by her mother. "Naya how have you been? I heard you returned yesterday? And why are you crying?" Laura's mother asked me so many questions, while she let me in, but I just couldn't say anything, as I was choked with tears. "Ma'am, where is Laura?" I managed to say after a while instead of responding to her questions, as I tried to wipe the tears in my eyes. "She is in her room." Was her response, and I just sighed, and made my way over to Laura's bedroom. "What is wrong?" Laura asked immediately if she saw me, and I went ahead to tell her what had happened, she quickly consoled me. "I'm really sorry about that, but why on Earth would your parents want to do something like this to you when you are their only child?" She asked me, and I sighed softly, before I finally spoke up. "According to them, he threatened to come here to attack the Pack, so they went to him before he could do that, and he was still offering them some money in return too, I guess that's more reason they were doing this." I answered her questions truthfully, and she sighed softly. "I really can't believe this, they made a very bad decision." Laura said, as she caressed my face, while I cried on her shoulder. We continued talking, while she continued trying to console me, and after some time, I had to leave and return home. Once I stepped into the house, I saw some men sitting on the couch with my parents. "Naya, welcome back, we have been waiting for you, please come here." I heard dad say, and I just swallowed hard and stared at the two men sitting closer to him. "Why would I come to you after what you have done?" I asked him, as I tried not to think about what had happened again. "You don't even have to come here if you don't want to, but look there, some people are waiting for you." He pointed to the opposite couch where the two men were seated. "I don't know any of them, so I guess they aren't really here to see me." I spoke up, as my glance was still fixed on the two men, as I was trying to figure out who they were. "Alpha Adrian had sent them to get you." Dad said, and honestly I couldn't believe what I had just heard. "I'm not going anywhere dad, Please tell them to Leave." I told him, as I made an attendance to leave there. But then mum came with my luggage. "Here are her bags you can take to the car." Mum said, and I gasped, my parents were really so unbelievable right now. "Mum, what are you doing?" I asked, as tears welled up in my eyes again, but I tried not to release it. "You have to go dear, we will come to see you soon." She said, but I wasn't really going to go just this easily. "I'm not going anywhere, so please don't make me go." I spoke up, as my tears threatened to flow down my cheeks, but I quickly stopped them. "You are going, and you don't need to worry that you would be going alone, because I have decided to come with you." Dad said, and held my hand, but I swagged it away. "I'm your only child, dad, how could you sell me off for just some money?" I pulsed as I stared straight at Dad who couldn't say a word, as he just kept calm staring back at me. "You love your Pack so much that you had to offer me, so easily, to the Ruthless Alpha, despite knowing how it is, just because you want your Pack to be safe?" I finally let out my frustrations, hoping it would make a little impartial, and probably make him change his mind. But just then, one of the men grabbed hold of my bags, and started taking them away, as I hoped Dad would stop them. "You have to leave with Naya." Dad ranting, and turned over to the men, while I blinked back the tears threatened to flow down my cheeks. I'm not going to just stop speaking for myself, I won't let them get rid of me so easily. "I said I'm not going anywhere, tell those men to bring back my bags." I half yelled, and just then dad turned to me again. "I have been trying to be polite with you, but I guess you want it the hard way then." Dad turned to the men once he saw that they were already out of the house with my bags. "If you don't go with them willingly, I'm going to make them force you out of here." Dad threatened, and pulsed at he glanced at me, while I quickly swallowed the leap in my throat as I stared at him in awe. "Dad," I called, this time,my tears were already pouring down my cheeks like rain. "Don't think those tears of yours would change anything, because you are still going to leave my Pack if you don't go with them." I just blinked my lashes rapidly as I stared at him, while he continued. "And also don't even consider going to my sister's Pack, because I will contact her not to accommodate you." Dad threatened, making me freeze, but just then the men came to me again. I really don't want to marry that so-called Alpha, but now there is nothing I can do, because they have already sold me off to him. Thinking about it, more tears poured down my cheeks, I don't know what else I can do right now, as I was totally out of options. I was rejected before and now this. How much worse can my life get?
