Ten days later, Cameron walked into the laundry after breakfast. Ruth had gotten her work assignment changed for the day. Annie was on hold for her parole hearing, just waiting and pacing until they were ready to talk to her, and Cameron was to replace her for the day. The DEA suspected that the laundry was the center for everything but they’d searched it thoroughly several times during the shakedowns and always come up empty handed.
