Chapter 14 Cam had just come in from the yard. It was a miserable Maryland day at the end of the summer. The temperature was over ninety degrees with humidity around ninety percent. The dampness off Chesapeake Bay permeated the air and made it heavy. Moving was an effort. Even breathing caused everyone to sweat. Despite the heat, Cam felt a small amount of self-satisfaction.
