Cam walked into the cafeteria alone, after others from her cellblock. Every eye in the room turned and looked at her, although there were some who tried to hide their curiosity. Her head still pounded and her ribs and face ached but she’d sworn to herself that she was going to get an academy award for the performance she’d give tonight.
