Chapter 15 Cameron stood at the door to the cell looking out into the silent, empty corridor. The glow of the amber safety lights that lit the prison at night gave an eerie feel to the place. More eerie than usual. Cam didn’t know the exact time, but figured it was just after midnight; the guard had made her bed-check rounds just a few minutes ago. Not everyone was asleep, yet. Cam could hear low voices coming from the other cells down the corridor. Gina still wasn’t very friendly, but at least she didn’t ignore Cam anymore. Her cell was right next to Cam’s and Gina had even asked her a few questions tonight as they stood in the corridor before lock down.
