Cam wiped the sweat out of her eyes. Even though the temperature was in the mid-fifties, the basketball game was really heated.
She hadn’t gotten involved in any of the games until this week, but when Tuck tossed the ball to her as she stood along the fence, Cam accepted the invitation and joined in.
They’d been playing five on five for almost a half hour and were still tied.
“Come on, Andrews,” Tuck called as she in-bounded the ball to Cam. “Show them how it’s done.” She lowered her voice as she slid past Cam. “Pass it to Reggie and get over in the left corner.”
Cam dribbled to her right, then passed the ball to the tall redheaded center. Cam drifted back to the left corner as Reggie faked a few moves then handed the ball off to Tuck who ran down the lane and leaped to toss the ball,
