Chapter 16 Cameron leaned against the door of her cell, just as she had every night for the past several weeks. She’d had more trouble sleeping and, rather than toss and turn, had taken to standing at the door, waiting, watching, talking to the C.O. as she made her rounds and just try to work her way through the mysteries surrounding her. She found herself becoming more and more violent, more abrupt, much less considerate, definitely less sensitive. Had found herself reveling in the knowledge that she could get anything she wanted from anyone in the prison just by being tougher, by standing up for herself. Charlie would be proud. She could get anything. Anything, that is, except the information she needed to get the job done and get out of here. She knew it must be well past midnight. T
