Everlyn sat in the passenger seat as Noah drove them to this forest. He was excited to show her. He had found himself growing fond of her as the days went by. He couldn't find any dirt on her that made him believe she wasn't trustworthy, and he could actually see a future with this woman. But he kept a secret, it was a secret that would either send her running for the hills or keep her with him, and it wasn't time to tell her…if he ever did. He carried down a dirt road, and the headlights from the other car behind reflected in the side mirror. It wasn't long before they were pulling to a stop. Everlyn clambered out of the SUV and walked around to Noah's side, where everyone else was waiting. She smiled at Luca as she stood beside him, waiting for Noah to explain what was about to happen. She was on high alert. For all she knew, they could have found out everything and drove her here to kill her, even though that thought wasn't rational. "Looks like we've got a newbie with us this time." The man that Everlyn had nicknamed 'wolfie' had stated. "Well, aren't you observant, wolfie?" She joked, she had found out that his name was actually Derek, but she liked tantalizing him. "What did I tell you about calling me that, Blaire?" He growled. His wolf was already agitated and wanted to be set free. "Oh, please, you secretly love it." "Derek, stop complaining." Noah interrupted and found it funny when Everlyn winked at Derek in a teasing manner. "You guys know the rules." He turned his attention onto the feisty woman in front of him. "When you change into your wolf, we wait until everyone has turned before we go running. Try to stay in the same vicinity as each other in case something bad happens." Everyone nodded their heads and moved away from each other so that they could start undressing. Noah paused midway, taking his top off. "You can hide behind a tree if you'd like?" He suggested to Everlyn. She didn't reply and yanked her t-shirt over her head before starting on undoing her jeans. She stood in front of all the men in nothing but her birthday suit and smirked when a growl amitted from Noah's chest. She didn't wait for him to say anything and dropped to all fours as she let her wolf take control. She was used to the pain of changing into her wolf, but that didn't stop a small whimper from leaving her lips as she as her body morphed into a different species. Her sight changed to red as she could only see using her wolf vision, and she noticed that all the men had yet to change into their wolves. They had started at the whole thing and were amazed at the wolf standing before them. Her fur coat was black like her hair making her red eyes stand out even more. Unlike popular belief, rogues didn't look anymore animalistic than a regular pack wolf. "Holy s**t, look at how sharp her teeth are." Luca gasped out and took a step closer to get a better look. Everlyn snarled and clamped her teeth when his hand came near in an attempt to scare him. He snatched his hand back and fell onto his butt. If wolves could laugh, she would be on the floor in hysterics at his reaction. Luca scrambled off the floor while the rest of the guys laughed at him, falling onto the floor. He muttered some profanities and continued to undress to change into his own wolf. "Never mind her teeth. She's almost as big as you, Noah." One of the guys said in amazement that they couldn't believe her wolf's size, and they had definitely never come across a she-wolf this kind of size. Everlyn felt proud of the size of her wolf and loved showing her off. She couldn't wait for the day that she would be able to show the other Alphas and her King that she was meant to be Queen. "Alright, stop ogling her," Noah instructed, but he couldn't deny that she was beautiful. If he wasn't thinking about keeping her around before, he sure was going to now. She could come of use, he thought. Everlyn waited patiently for the other rogues to turn and paid attention to who was who, even though she would be able to tell by their scents. Noah's wolf sat opposite her as he was the first to turn. Their eyes never strayed as they waited for the others. Noah stood on all fours and darted through the wolves towards the pine forest as soon as the last person shifted. She was hot on his tail, and her wolf yelped excitedly, and the feeling of freedom, but even a small part of her wolf wished that Kai was here with her. Their paws hit the hard ground, snapping twigs as they ran through the dark forest. Everlyn jumped over a fallen tree that was blocking her path. The others followed her movements and continued to run for what felt like hours. All thoughts left her mind as she cleared her head. She felt so at peace and stopped by the stream that Noah had mentioned the night before. She lapped up some of the running water and lay down on the bank of the stream beside the other wolves. It wouldn't be long before the sun would begin to rise, and they had to make sure they were at the car in time; otherwise, it would have been a long and naked walk to the car. Noah was the first to stand, and the rest followed suit as they ran through the forest to where their clothes and belongings were left behind.
