“Bastard!” Rain cursed.
“Don’t ask me!” Sky snapped. “I don’t know” Rain continued to pull on Sky’s sleeve, the annoyance clear on his face.
“So can you ask Phi Som about it?” Rain asked. “You know, I went to pick up my car from the garage and I heard Phi Payu was the one who took care of it and more over I heard he also fixes race cars and superbikes.” Rain was rambling. “They were telling me that there will be a race on Friday. I don’t know where it will be held. Do you know something about it?”
“Tell me first.” Sky told him. “Why do you want to know?”
“Oh, there’s an old saying” Rain responded. “That if you know your opponent you can fight them a hundred times and the victory will always be yours.”
“Even if you met him a thousand times” Sky teased him. “You are definitely never going to win.” Rain stared at Sky so intently that he could have burned holes in his face. Rain didn’t stop bugging Sky until Sky nearly lost his temper; he got up to change seats but Rain refused to allow it and blocked him.
“Skkkkyyyy” Rain whined. “You probably would have some sort of information.” He was pleading with his friend. “Help me please. I have to defeat that bastard!”
“RAIN!” Sky scolded.
“Are you going to help?” Rain asked excitedly.
“No” Sky told him. “I just want to let you know, that have you noticed” Sky paused second guessing if he should ask the next part but was determined to find out more information from Rain. “You only seem to be talking about Phi Payu?”
“No, I don’t” Rain retorted immediately. Sky immediately raised his hands in surrender.
“You can deny it all you want my friend.” Sky told him. “I don’t want to listen to your ideas anymore and I don’t want to help you. I am not getting into trouble because of you.” Rain kept nagging Sky who was starting to pretend his friend was invisible to him, but Rain was relentless at pulling on Sky’s shirt. Sky turned and glared at his friend, he shook his head. No meant no.
Of course, Rain wasn’t done yet. The teacher arrived and started the lecture but Rain was still bugging Sky about it. He threw a piece of paper at Sky that read if you don’t help me I will be furious. What Rain wasn’t able to understand is why he was so interested in Payu. He kept telling himself that it was better to deal with a problem before it came back to bite you in the ass. Payu’s words from the morning kept ringing through Rain’s head. “I never let anyone run away without paying the debt. Rain was determined to stay alert you never knew when the devil would show up.
