Rain was surprised when his class was dismissed earlier than usual. As Rain and Sky made their way down the steps they couldn’t help but notice a large group of students blocking the hallway. “What was happening?” Rain asked himself. He tried to tip toe to see what all the fuss and chaos was about. The teacher was stood in the middle of the group speaking to someone, Rain couldn’t see who though. Rain peered his head around to try and see who was stood in front of the teacher, when he finally got to see his eyes met with the devils. Rain immediately crunched down to the floor to hide, he looked like a tortoise who was trying to insert himself back into his shell after they had escaped. “Phi Payu????” Rain shouted in his head. “Why is he here?” He questioned himself. He couldn’t help but think about the reasons Payu had for being here. Others wouldn’t think it unusual for him as he is a former student and prince of the department. Why could he not just go to the staff room? Rain knew he had to run and just as he was making preparations to run he saw the crowd split like the red sea. “Ahhhh, I have found my junior!” A voice above him announced. Rain knew instantaneously who the deep voice belonged to as Payu placed a hand on his shoulder. When their eyes met Rain could see the message that he was caught. Payu took pleasure in conveying that message aswell. “Sir”, Payu turned back to the teacher. “I have something to discuss with Nong.” Rain squirmed under Payu’s large palm; he looked like an earthworm trying to escape his predator by burying himself under the ground. When Rain looked around everyone’s eyes were on him. The professors, his classmates and even Sky were staring at him dumbfounded. Rain wasn’t ready to look stupid in front of his whole class so sat still. “Then go ahead” The teacher told Payu while nodding. “Don’t forget to stop by again.” “Yes Sir.” Payu replied while holding the professor’s hand. “See you soon, have a nice day.” Rain couldn’t help but think that Payu was amazing actor. He was being so nice to everyone but he was horrible to Rain, he would wait until the perfect timing and then pick his feet up and run away. Payu placed a second hand on Rain’s shoulders trying to indicate to Rain there was no use in running. “Let me go” Rain whispered to him while glaring up into his eyes. “Hello Phi Payu” Sky stepped forward and greeted before Rain could signal to Sky that he needed help. The sharp eyed senior turned to look at Sky. “Hi Nong Sky” Payu replied. “How are the works at the club going? Are you getting used to it?” “Yes Phi” Sky was thrilled to be speaking to Payu but noticed that he was holding onto his friend pretty tightly. He also saw his friends call for help but chose to ignore it. “It’s going well.” “I have some important work today” Payu told Sky. “I shall stop by the club a little bit later on.” “Work?” Sky questioned. “Related to my friend?” He asked the second question hesitantly. “Oh” Payu said very interested in Sky now. “Is Rain here your friend?” A smile beamed across Payu’s face as he got closer to Sky. “Then I will ask you to lend me your friend for a little while.” “Hey!” Rain exclaimed. Why were they talking about him like he wasn’t there? “I don’t want to go with you Rain protested, turning to Sky and grabbed his arm to ask him for help without using words. The smile on Phi Payu’s face broadened. He refused to let go of the smaller guy in his grip. He turned to face Rain. “Why not?” He asked. “This morning I did call you and told you that I would come and visit you.” “Huh?” Rain looked at Payu perplexed. His mouth was wide open he didn’t remember that phone call. His inner monologue that took over was screaming. You didn’t tell me anything of the sort. “I have come to collect the repair fee.” Payu told him while moving his face closer to Rain. “What fee Phi Payu?” A female voice from behind them enquired. Rain hadn’t seen Ple approach who was standing behind Sky now. She looked over all of them stood next to her and remembered that Rain had told her that he didn’t like the senior stood in front of them, but she couldn’t help but think they looked very close. “Rain’s car was repaired at my family workshop” He told Ple. “I have come here to collect the agreed payment.” “I haven’t....” Rain tried to protest but he was cut short when Payu finished the sentence for him. “Rain has paid some already, when he let me...” Rain jumped towards Payu and covered him mouth with his hand. His reflexes were so quick that he turned to his friends who all had a look of horror stuck to their faces. He was unsure if they had heard exactly what Phi Payu had said but he was determined to hold his hand over his mouth so nothing else leaked. “Come with me” Rain dragged the man who can only be described as huge away from everyone. He had to solve this problem by himself. It looked like his best friend was not going to be much help. He had to sort it out if he wanted to keep his reputation and more importantly his crush. He dragged Payu as far away from the audience as possible and with a great amount of effort. He would have dragged Payu to the corners of the earth if he could. All of his friends looked at each other shocked. “Is Rain close to Phi Payu?” Ple asked Sky. “I am not sure.” Sky replied. He didn’t want to answer that question before he spoke to Rain to find out exactly what had happened because all of the witnesses saw it was Rain who dragged Payu away. Sky couldn’t help but sigh and think that if anything did happen, he only had himself to blame. “What do you mean by saying all of that just now?” Rain asked Payu in the most secluded place he could think of. They were in the men’s bathroom at the back of the building. They were alone when the smaller of the two men turned to the other and Rain couldn’t help but think that although he thought of Payu as a tiger he looked more like an angry puppy. “I just told the truth” Payu told him. “What truth?” Rain tried to defend himself. “There was nothing truthful about it!” THUD! Payu slammed his palm against the wall next to Rain. He brought his head closer to Rain, who was stood too shocked and stunned to move.He raised his eyes to look into the dark black eyes that Rain always compared to a Hawk’s. I should be the one who has to be angry Rain told himself and questioned why Payu was so angry. “Do you know what I hate the most?” Payu asked him with his sharp eyes flaring at him menacingly. “I....” Rain began to stutter still reeling from the slap of the wall. He steadied himself. “I don’t know. Why should I?” His words were soft because he was nervous at the guy who was glaring down on him. “Those who don’t keep their promises.” Payu told him. “I always keep my promises.” Rain maintained. Payu tugged at Rain’s chin and brought him closer. The closer they got the foggier Rain’s mind became. “So you forgot that when we first met I told you the repair wasn’t going to be cheap.” Payu told him in a low voice. “The little shepherd told me he could afford it.” Rain remembered that he said it wasn’t going to be cheap and Rain remembered telling Payu that he could pay the costs. Rain’s heart was thumping so much that he could feel it in his head. He couldn’t help but remember the shudder that went through his body when he found out what the cost was. “What do you think about my project?” A different male voice asked. “Are you still stuck with that building structure?” A second voice asked. They both looked towards the door as they heard the footsteps fast approaching. Rain’s eyes widened in shock. He was worried about what would happen if someone saw them in this state. Rain pulled Payu towards one of the shower stalls. “Let’s go in” Rain pushed before he could process what he had actually done by pushing the large man into the shower cubicle. He shut the door behind them and listened intently for the two voices to get closer. The group of friend’sentered the bathroom and Rain sighed with relief that no one would see them and they would escape the gazes of his classmates, when he felt an arm slide around his waist. “Let go of me!” Rain objected. “Sssshhh” Payu told him. Rain struggled against the arm that was still tightly around his waist and he fell silent when he was shushed. Rain held onto the stall door tightly, he was scared that someone outside would hear them. If he tried to move his body a little he would rub against the person behind him. Rain could feel the adrenaline run through his veins. His heart rate increased and his mouth instantly became dry. His inner monologue scolding him for putting himself in this position, it was a suicide mission. What were you thinking? He asked himself but found himself strangely turned on by what was happening although he wasn’t sure he wanted it to happen. Payu could sense a change in Rain and reached up to try and undo the buttons on his shirt. Rain could feel that Payu’s breath had changed and felt the heat radiate from his breath up his neck. “Let go of me.” Rain told him through ragged breath. “Talk to me with respect.” Payu’s voice was now sexily low and it was a message that went straight between Rain’s legs. “No” Rain defied him. That was the wrong answer for Payu; he moved the hand that was on Rain’s abdomen to his chest. “Oh!” Rain gasped in shock. What was happening to him? He had to stop this. It confused him. He opened his eyes widely, trying to grab the big hands that were all over him. He was struggling to move them. “Make any more noise” Payu whispered into his ear. “People outside will get to know what we are doing.” Rain froze. The further it went the more confused he was becoming. Payu’s hand roamed across Rain’s chest and came to Rain’s n****e over his shirt. Rain melted instantly. He began to shiver in a way that he had never shivered before. Sweat started to drip behind his ears and began to congregate on his forehead. “Let’s try and say please” Payu told him. “No!” Rain defied again. “Uh huh” Payu tutted quietly while moving his finger tips again. Payu noticed Rain’s mouth clench to stop any sound from coming out. He couldn’t help that think that Rain was fighting the attraction to him. Payu raised his knee and separated Rain’s legs. Rain jumped, startled especially when he felt Payu’s thighs rub against his bum and he started to shake. The heat was rising as both men were squeezed against each other and Rain swore Payu could hear his heart beating. “Call me Phi Payu” He demanded. “Uh....” Rain was struggling to concentrate; he was feeling things he had never felt before. Payu placed a gentle kiss on his neck. “Phi......Phi....” Payu loved Rain’s reactions to him. “Phi Payu.” Payu’s warm mouth was still placing gentle kisses over Rain’s neck. He felt Payu begin to suck on his skin causing Rain to whimper. “Say Phi Payu,” Payu’s voice now gravely and in a low growl with the s****l tension in the small cubicle. “Please release Nong Rain.” “No” Rain denied quietly. “Well...” Payu smiled as his mouth continued to travel over Rain’s creamy skin. “That’s fine by me.” Payu reached up and undid the first shirt button as Rain started to squirm. This cause Rain’s bum to brush against something he shouldn’t have. When Rain realised he froze like a statue unsure of what was happening to him. Payu pushed his knee higher and started to rub slightly as he unbuttoned the second button moving further down his shirt. “Phi....” Rain stuttered. He had to get out of this situation. “Phi Payu please release Nong Rain.” Rain’s lips were trembling, but his legs felt like jelly as he squeezed his eyes shut. The feelings that he didn’t understand were becoming too much. A tear fell from his eyes and ran down his cheek. When Payu noticed the tear he brought his alluring face to meet Rain’s. His nose rubbed against Rain’s cheek. Rain couldn’t help but wonder what was happening to him. “Say Phi Payu” Payu told him. “I promise never to curse again and talk to you respectfully. “Phi Payu” Rain repeated immediately. He had to figure this out and to do that he had to move away from the snaky senior. “Rain promises to never swear again and talk to you respectfully.” CLICK The bathroom door was open and it startled Rain when there was no else in the bathroom. “They are all gone.” The deep masculine voice announced. Rain escaped the cubicle and collapsed in a heap on the floor. He sat there breathless and confused looking up at the devil. Payu kneeled down and started to button his shirt. “I had warned you that I would come and collect the debt” Payu told him jokingly. “All you had to do was listen to what I had told you. When you didn’t listen I came to teach you in person.” “Were you not trying to force yourself on me?” Rain asked. Payu smirked. “I may not look like it” Payu started. “But I do have pretty high standards.” Rain kept trying to retaliate to that comment but couldn’t. His mouth kept opening and closing as if he wanted to say something, but he couldn’t get it out. Payu stood rising to his full height; he looked down at Rain and his watch. “This Phi shall leave now” He told Rain with a smile on his face. “Next time if you don’t keep your promises.” His voice had returned to normal the s*x appeal had seeped out of it now completely. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Rain watched as Payu left as if nothing had happened, while he still sat on the floor in a puddle of jelly. He was hyperventilating and his face was flushed. How had Payu reduced him to this? His shirt was dishevelled and he could feel that it was also damp from the sweat. He tried to relax and get his thoughts together when tears started to flow freely from his eyes. He felt shame about being attracted to him. The nervousness that he felt about Payu as well was surging through him. All the emotions were too much for him to bare. He was scared. He wasn’t afraid to admit that what he was feeling scared him. He had only been attracted to girls before. As he tried to stand pain surged through him. He looked down to find that Rain junior was standing to attention. Anger kicked in. He was in pain because of something that bad guy had done and managed to arouse him in a way that he had never been aroused before. It was Payu’s touch! His inner monologue was running angry through his brain. “I’LL MAKE YOU CHOOSE ME!” He shoutedat himself. “WAIT AND WATCH. PHI PAYU YOU BASTARD!” “Rain calm down first!” Sky shouted at his friend. “DON’T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!” Rain shrieked. “I can’t take it anymore. If you are not going to help me then I shall find it myself!” Sky had a headache and his temples were throbbing, he didn’t know what had happened but his friend was furious to say the least. He had never seen Rain this angry. He didn’t know what happened between Rain and their senior but when he came back his face was red and lit up like a fire with fury. Rain suddenly slapped his hands on the table declaring he was going to war with Phi Payu. Rain had been mumbling the same ranting for the last few days since he and Payu went off together at university but Sky didn’t think it was a joke this time. It looked like things were getting more serious. Rain repeated his question, if Sky was going to help him by fishing out the information for the races. Sky was understandably hesitant. Rain instantly turned and left with his feet on fire.Sky tried to get him to calm down but he managed to stout the fire inside Rain more. “Who does he think he is?” Rain complained. “How dare he speak of me like I am an option!” Listening to his friend’s ramblings he couldn’t make sense of what Rain was saying but he was sure something happened to make Rain act so brashly. Sky ran to try and catch up with Rain, Sky was sure his friend should have been leaving burn marks where his feet touched. When Sky eventually caught up to Rain he found him standing outside Phi Som’s classroom. Luckily there wasn’t a professor in the class yet. Sky ran behind Rain who had already taken a step inside. He greeted Phi Som before Rain could. “Phi Som” Rain called. “Do you know what Phi Payu’s weakness is?” A look of holy terror fell across Sky’s face. “What the hell Rain?” Sky questioned. “No!” Rain argued. “Let Phi Som answer.” “I don’t know” Som replied with anger filling his voice. “Even if I did I am not telling you.” A smile came across his face slowly as he thought of Payu. “I’m his admirer and it’s my job to protect the image of my idol.” “What damn idol?” Rain retorted. “Rain!” Som who was always calm and collected was now shouting towards his Junior. Sky hurriedly jumped into the middle of the two, grabbing his friend and moving him behind him. He raised his hands to signal surrender. “I am soo sorry Phi Som.” He kowtowed hoping that Rain would keep his mouth shut. “Rain is just being silly, please excuse us.” “I am not going anywhere!” Rain tried to push his friend out of the way. Sky knew he had totally lost his cool. He wanted answers. So he went to the biggest admirer of Payu he knew. He had even forgotten the fact that the admirer was the senior brother of the girl he was trying to pursue. “Phi Som” Rain announced. “Did you know that Phi Payu is an illegal racer?” Som just looked at Rain with a confused look on his face. “What kind of fan are you if you didn’t know that your idol is a racer?” Som’s face hardened in anger. He stood up to confront his junior when Sky interjected again. “Rain!” Sky shouted. “That’s enough, show some respect to our senior.” Sky was getting worried Rain was going to get himself into either a lot of trouble or hurt. “So...” Rain was trying to bulldoze Som now. “Do you know?” Som started to roll his sleeves up, he was going to teach this disrespectful junior some manners. He looked up at the senior who was slowly getting closer and could see that he didn’t believe him. The other seniors started to gather around because they knew what was going to happen. Sky panicked. He jumped in the middle to intervene and pulled Rain from the classroom with all of his might. “Phi Som” Sky said “Please forgive Rain. He is not himself today and you know that he has a foul mouth and doesn’t think about what he says.” Sky was pleading with the senior for his friend and he didn’t know why because Rain was not backing down. “Please understand. I will ask you to forgive him in his place!” He turned to Rain. “Calm the f**k down.” Sky whispered. “I will look into where the f*****g race is happening!” He would have told Rain anything especially if he managed to shut his friend up and get out this uncomfortable situation. Rain looked towards Sky with trepidation in his eyes. “Are you telling the truth?” He asked. “Yes, you asshole!” Sky told him. “But first apologise!” Rain could feel the atmosphere for the first time and realised it was him that had caused it. “Phi Som I apologise” Rain said. “I was out of line there.” “Yes I can clearly see that!” Som replied fury running through him and it was obvious around all of them. “Bastard. Sky take your friend away before I punch him.” Som seethed. Without a second thought Sky dragged Rain out of the classroom. He took him somewhere that they could talk without an audience. When they got there he turned rage present in his voice and eyes. “What the f**k did you think you were doing?” Sky raged at Rain. “I was just angry” Rain replied. “Yeah sure” Sky agreed with sarcasm in his voice. “For a minute did you even think about the consequences of your behaviour?” His voice had turned from sarcasm to pleading. “You argued with a senior. We are all going to be in trouble now.” Rain had calmed down and the shame began to sink in. He lowered his head to stare at his feet in embarrassment. “Sorry...” Rain told Sky. “Keep apologising” Sky told him. “What is going on?” There was a demand in his voice now that Rain had very rarely heard from Sky. He looked up to Sky who noticed there was hurt in his eyes and they were blood shot. Sky hadn’t noticed that before. “I am hurt” Rain told him. “Then tell me” Sky pleaded. “What is going on?” Rain didn’t know how to explain. He just looked at Sky while biting into his lips, trying to stop the tears from falling. Sky was taken aback. He looked very different two minutes earlier. “Can’t you tell me?” Sky asked him while reaching for Rain’s shoulders. “What happened between you and Phi Payu?” “I...” Sky was confused by his friend’s reaction. Rain was usually cheerful and talking at a million miles a second. He wouldn’t shut up until he finished all of his stories but the Rain in front of Sky now was pitiful and it broke his heart to see his friend this way. “Please help me find the information?” Rain sounded like he was begging now. “Hmmm” Sky sighed. “I can’t promise when I will find it but I will try.” Sky knew some people in the student council that he could ask. When Rain heard that Sky was willing to help him he jumped at his friend and hugged him with joy. “I love you so much you bastard!” Rain told him while strangling his friend in a vice grip like hug. “Oh please” Sky replied. “Keep the love to yourself and stop causing trouble for everyone. I can’t keep cleaning up your mess.” Rain nodded his head so vigorously someone would have thought it would have detached from his body. Sky could see the instant improvement in Rain’s mood when he had said that he was going to help him. “It’s annoying you know.” Sky added. “Your persistent attitude of not giving up.” “I was always taught that man must never quit and keep striving” Rain replied with a smile on his face. “You could have used this to flirt with Ple” Sky told him in exasperation. “But noooo here you are going to war with a damned man.” “Oye!” Rain protested, “Ass.” “I don’t know about you” Sky told Rain. “But I am hungry and tired after running behind some i***t, who wants to run all over the place.” Rain smiled sheepishly towards his friend and followed him to the cafeteria with a smile. What Rain didn’t know was that he was putting himself as bait directly into the mouth of the tiger.
