CHAPTER THREE

In the early morning, the Adams has their normal routine of serving the day, while Jerry continues the chores in the house and to get set for school. He was fully excited and had a big smile on his face.

Mrs Adam and Tasha were in the sitting room as they watch through the window looking at poor Jerry and imagining the humiliation he will face today at school. They both look at themselves and smile wickedly. Mr Adam knows nothing about what to happen, but he also never mind what happens to Jerry. He always believes Jerry is a failure and nothing good can from him. He promised not to spend a penny on Jerry’s studies and wants him to start something good for himself.

Jerry knew and understood His entire relations plan but he decided to ignore them and focus on how he can succeed. He finds happiness and joy when he is alone in his room and always writes down his plan when he has a wonderful life.

The Fresher’s arrived early to class and hoping to watch the humiliation Jerry will pass through from Bryan. Some students were imagining and also displaying the action of Bryan vs Jerry. Some other departments heard the news and came alone. As they discuss, Bryan approach to the parking lots with his BMW 2019 latest model. He was wearing a black jacket with inner black shirt and a black jean with black sneakers. He has everything black including the sunglasses and the watch he wore. As his approach the class, all the ladies including the other department ladies were admiring him. Every lady wants him as their boyfriend. His friend Phil, who is also from a rich family, but not so like Bryan, approaches him and told him about the news and why people are waiting to see Jerry been humiliated.

Tasha also arrives and Brenda quickly met her and told her how everyone is waiting for Jerry’s arrival. Tasha knew Jerry do not have the money and she smile and told Brenda not to worry, ‘they will be a big show’ says Tasha.

Eva, who also usually came early, was scared and felt pity for Jerry. Some students teased her and ask her about the whereabouts of her boyfriend. Eva and Jerry are close. They were too close that they do their things together.

Jerry finished his chores and did not bother to ask for transport fare. Mrs Adam was surprised but she was happy because Jerry will be humiliated. Jerry wore his normal and simple clothes and stops a taxi and came to school early too.

As he approach the class, other student so him from afar and announce to the class. They were big roar in the class and Eva began to shiver. She felt Jerry will be humiliated and probably pay $70 instead of $50.

Jerry enters the class and everyone eyes was on him, as he approaches his seat a sound came from behind, ‘you filthy rag and good for nothing person, did u bring my money or you will have to pay me $70’ says Bryan. But Jerry felt comfortable and look at Bryan and smile. ‘I am sorry I delay to pay you in time, but I have your money’ say Jerry. The class was surprised as they watch Jerry pulls out $50 from his pocket and handed it over to Bryan. Bryan was amused and shocked. Tasha who was making a live video to show it to her mom at home was also surprised. Everyone in the class felt cold and was surprised. They never expect it was going to turns to Jerry favour. Where did you get this money? Bryan asked. Jerry did not bother to answer and left for his seat. Someone in the class shouted “probably he picked it”. Others say he is lucky to pick such an amount. The student got jealous of Jerry of being lucky and wished they were so lucky like him.

Eva was surprised and happy at the same time. What she thought was entire different of what exactly happen. She was excited and asks Jerry how it happened. Did you pick the money? Eva asked smiling. Jerry smiled back and said no. He narrated her all what happen and she felt calmed.

Miss Tami came in and everyone was settling, although she could hear the little noise on a low tune. She quickly addressed everyone and starts her normal class. She glanced at Jerry seat and was surprised to see Jerry in class early. She was delighted that Jerry was keeping to his words.

After the class, Miss Tami also announce to the class about their trip to the Federal museum and gave a room for discussion to students how it should go about. The students were happy and are ready to comply. The class representative asked the teacher how much the students are to pay for the trip. Miss Tami was happy with the question and she quickly answered. It depends on how much the students can gather. Although the trip is a month ahead, so they have much time to reason on the cost.

The entire students went out as they discuss about the trip, Jerry was not too happy because he won’t have enough to pay for the trip. He hopes to get enough before the day comes.

Tasha was still in shock about today’s incident between Bryan and Jerry. She thought Jerry will be humiliated and also been embarrassed in school but the reverse is the case. She told her mom what happen and they were all surprise.

Well my dear don’t worry, your father won’t be paying for his fees when the needs arises says Mrs Adam. All what was in Mrs Adam mind was how he could be so lucky to pick such amount.
