Our little secret.

After sitting in her little brother's room for the past 10 minutes she got up kissed his little head and made her way out of the room.

Josh was 3 years old now so she knew that the war she had been dreaming about was coming.

For the past 4 years when her mother found out she was expecting she knew she had to become stronger to protect her family she wasn't going to be that weak little girl in her dream.

She made her way to her parent's room and cracked the door open and saw them sleeping soundly. It was Saturday so she knew her parents were home all day today.

she closed the door and headed downstairs as she made it to the bottom of the stairs she could hear her uncle on the phone

"Yes, I'm leaving after lunch. But if my niece needs me back here I'll be coming back again. I don't care if you can put Jim or Layton on the next assignment. my family needs me more. I'll be giving her my phone to contact me when she needs to so get me another one and program it. I don't care Clay get it done and get done before I leave here today." Her uncle hung up the phone and noticed her coming towards her.

"Good morning Uncle Nicco. You ready?''

He smiled at her and nodded " Actually Lisha I have something different set for today's training. You up for it?''

He walked to the front door and tipped his head as he walked out.

She followed him out to his truck and watched as he flung open the boot and opened the secret compartment in the back.

He was shocked to see a smile on her face when he showed her what was in the back. He thought she would be scared but this young girl smiled with a wicked smirk as she nodded her head keen to play with them.

They jumped in the truck and made their way to an opening near the woods.

He set up a table laid his weapons out and started to teach her what every weapon did how to take them apart and put them back together. she caught on so quickly he was surprised. As they were packing them up he decided to take her to the garage and show her why he was in there every day.

As they arrived back at the house Lisha watched as her uncle opened the garage walked to the back of it and hit a bottom in the power box. Her eyes went wide as she saw the back of the garage open up a door and her uncle stepped in and nodded for her to follow.

as she stepped in her uncle pushed a button and the door closed and the little room began to move downward with them in it.

When it stopped the door opened again and Lisha's grin grew wider as she giggled looking around.

The room was lit with weapons and guns everywhere there was another door that her uncle walked to and put his finger to it scanned it then opened it.

"Your dad thinks I'm in the garage to tinker with my truck but this is where I come to do some work."

He watched Lisha closely as she walked around with a smile on her face.

"If I'm not here Lisha and you feel scared or need to hide come here with Josh okay?"

He watched as her eyes went wide and then she nodded to him.

"I've heard you scream in your sleep Lisha, I'm not sure what you are dreaming about but if this makes you feel safe anything is to happen. Come here ok?"

He watched as she smiled sadly he gave her his phone.

"the code is 1212 if you need me while I'm gone push 2 and call it ok. My work phone will ring and I'll answer. If something bad is happening Lisha and you are in a tough spot push 1 and call it ok I'll send everyone I can to help you ok?"

She starts crying but nods her head and hugs her uncle tightly.

"Thank you, Uncle Nicco"

" no worries kiddo. It can't be easy being the daughter of an alpha. You are a strong young lady I'd put you up against any of my men and I know you'll win every time. None of them ever got me on the ground as fast as you did well none of them ever have." He chuckled and stepped back.

"Don't let your parents know about this room ok it's a secret for just me and you. No one can get in and No one knows it is here."

"OK uncle I understand"

After he registered Lisha's print into the system and locked up they headed to the house smiling.

Nicco knew his niece needed a safe place but didn't know to what extent.

After they had breakfast and Niccos gears were packed and ready to leave he gave them all one last goodbye.

Weekes went by and Lisha continued her training alone 4 am in the dojo 6 am in the secret room 7 am running 8.30 am breakfast and the day was school work till 2 pm then training with her mum and her powers 5 pm on her run and 6.30 pm in her wolf form till 8 pm dinner and bed.

Her parents were so used to her routine that it became normal but her nightmares were getting worse every night. She would get a call from her uncle Nicco every couple of weeks just to let her know he was doing fine and to ask how she was doing.

Their conversations only lasted a couple of minutes but she felt content.

More weeks passed and the nightmares suddenly stopped she found it weird but still got up to do her normal daily thing.

Lisha had no friends and only communicated with her family and online teachers.

Her 16th Birthday was coming up and she knew she had to meet the pack properly.

The pack wasn't that big only had about 300 wolves. Their house was off to the left of the main packhouse where her father was every day. That day her mother took her and Josh to the main packhouse everyone noticed Luna and bowed to her showing respect.

Lisha was wearing a black tracksuit with her hood up and sunglasses on. Her mother was fighting her to wear a dress but failed. She felt anxious around other people her eyes always attracted people's attention. As she was walking she picked Josh up in her hands and watched as everyone bowed as they passed some even smiled. She could feel a weird vibe coming from the room her father was in.

They got to a big door and her mother knocked on the door and someone opened it from the other side. A tall handsome man with blond short hair and green eyes smiled at Luna and bowed to her.

"good morning Beta Jason How are you doing? How is your wife and Son doing?"

Her mother was in full Luna mode.

"I'm doing great Luna it's good to see you, the wife is doing great thank you. Shaun will be back from training soon. so if you are still around you will catch him."

He stepped aside and let Luna in and noticed Lisha holding Josh his eyes went wide but composed himself and smiled politely then bowed to her. They all knew the Alpha had a daughter and a son. They knew her age and his but they never really saw her.

Before stepping into the room Lisha noticed the 3 other people in the room with her father and she didn't like the vibe they were giving off.
