Chapter 55The pulse blast in the lab came and went in a flash. Tina looked over to the corner where Mondo stood. He held a small handful of unplugged cables, frozen in place as if waiting for the walls to collapse around him.
Fizzy coughed and sat up from her position in a chair where Mondo had placed her. She felt the brain net on her head. Tina rushed to her as she opened her eyes and gathered her bearings. Mondo ran over and hugged her.
“Fizzy! Are you okay, you good?”
Fizzy rubbed her throat. She took small breaths and gasps, and opened her mouth as if to say something. Finally, she nodded and gave a thumbs up.
“We got so much data, Fizz. We tracked almost everything. He didn’t even catch on. How did you do that?”
