Orphaned at 3 and placed in foster care by her mother, Mona Olcan moved from place to place never finding the family she wished for or a family that would accept her as she is. Mona didn’t survive long within any household. She was a very energetic and troublesome child but with that came unexplainable occurrences. How Mona’s eyes changed with mood, unnatural strength and speed for someone her age.
Mona is 15, heading to another foster home, wondering if this family could be the one. The one she always wished for. But what happens when the night of her 16th birthday, wandering through the woods, something happens. Mona changes into something that shouldn’t exist, at least not to her, something that she’s only read about in folklore and fairytales.
