I sigh into the night as the cold breeze grazes against my skin.

The feeling of restlessness crept in as I tossed and turned in bed. While everyone was fast asleep, I snuck away to my secret hiding place, the beach. Breathing in the salty air and wished that my parents didn't hide this big secret away from me, after all, I am their own flesh blood. Being the daughter of the previous legendary general of the lightning clan Karl Klein and Princess Isabella has been a great shock.

I have heard stories about my father, the legendary Karl Klein who was assigned to protect the princess, Isabella. He wasn’t the most hardworking warrior, but rather the exact opposite: lazy, arrogant, stubborn. As soon as he steps onto the battlefield, he transformed into a violent beast. Despite all these bad points, he had several good points once and is loyalty to his master and the clan.

In his clan, Karl is considered a handsome warrior with great height and extraordinary skills. He had a cocky attitude and a stone cold heart allowing nobody to get neared him. He was enraged at the news of being assigned to her Royal Highness, Princess Isabella. He rebelled against the assignment bestowed to him. However, his master personally persuades him to carry out the assignment. With deep respect, he agreed to accompany the Princess.

There was a reason for Karl's loyalty to his master. Back at a young age, he was just an orphan left on the street to steal for survival every day. Everything changed when his master took him providing him with a shelter. From this day forth, he felt a deep sense of respect for his master, the general of the clan. When the general passed away, he received all the in inheritance and became one of the five generals who protect this country.

Later when Karl was introduced to the princess as his personal bodyguard, she was furious. She didn't want to be protected for she had already felt like a bird trapped in a cage. In desperation, she spoke with her father, the king of the lightning kingdom. The argument in which the princess hoped to gain victory ended up in failure as the king had ordered Karl to protect the princess with his life.

Karl looked after her at every second of the days and nights. Every minute they met would resulted in an argument. It was quite amusing when I heard it from the princess point of view and as well as my father perspective view. When the general died, Kark became the next general in command. He became so busy he could no longer have the time to protect the princess. During his free time, loneliness creeped into his heart, so he came up with lame excuses to see the princess.

The princess could always see through his barrier of lies and would make fun of him. However on one special night, Karl unexpected declared his love. The princess was shocked with disbelief, but at the same time she knew she fell in love with a man name Karl Klein, the lightning beast. She responded by kissing the man who she would fall in love for all eternity.

The new couple started dating and cherished their time together every single moment in the castle everyday. Moreover, everything fell. Apart when the king noticed their love for each other. The king did not bear any sons but a single daughter She was the lightning kingdom’s only hope. If she were to be married to the lightning beast, the throne power will fall into his hands. The king doesn’t approve Karl’s ability of becoming the kingdom king,so this couple ran away from home. Later on the king remarried and was able to bear a son to be the kingdom heir. He held a decree stating that the princess was no longer his daughter and lost all her titles; erasing her existence in her kingdom.

The princess heart was torn to pieces, but Karl vowed he would never leave her side for rest of eternity. The words reached the heart of the princess. They settled in together in a far away land where no one would interrupt their life. Karl upon leaving his clan gave his titles away to this brother.

The darkness brought me peace and calmness. The silent night made everything looked perfect especially the full moon tonight reflected the face of my lover. I smile dreadfully as I longed for her. It disappoints me knowing I will wake up tomorrow not being able to see the face of my beloveth.

I want to touch her, smell her hair, and kiss her. I love her. I want her. I wish she was here l right now sitting beside me looking at the face of the moon together.

I stood up and walked towards the shore feeling the water slightly touching against my feet, and fleeing as the gentle wind swept across my face. As I breathe in the air, I saw something shimmering beneath the salty water. I steady myself against the currents while reaching down my hands to pulled out a glimmering object. Upon reaching it, I letted the current washed away all the sand remaining on the object. I gasped at the beautiful jewelry, a heart shaped ruby necklace. With a smile plastered across my face, I decided to present this as a gift to Ahri when I freed her to symbolize my undying love for her.
