When Chris threw her shoe in the fire, I couldn't help but start quietly laughing to myself. Within seconds it grew to a loud maniacal laugh that echoed thought the night. as they stare at me wondering what is happening. They are clueless to the fireball that will erupt in our faces at any moment, And I'm just drunk enough to find it hilarious. A slight "ping" followed by a blast of fire erupting from the the fire pit twenty feet in the air. Renna grabbed me tight, and when I looked over to Chris, all I saw was his feet as he dove from the truck. As inebriated as I was I will never forget the confusion on their faces as to why a shoe just exploded twenty feet into the night sky... "It was mee!" I yelled loudly, confusing them even further.

It never fails. When Chris and I were hanging out, insanity ensues. From silly insanity like making stupid videos and quoting dumb stuff; to chaotic insanity that entails fire or some other form of destruction.

When Chris moved to Arizona I was worried it would negatively effect the relationship Renna and I had grown, but we never skipped a beat. Having Chris around was awesome, he was the only one that respected our relationship fully.

For two months all we did was have fun together, non stop. Drinks ,BBQ, bon fires, video games and food. On the night before she left, we parked her truck in the backyard next to the bon fire. we were drinking heavily and at some point Renna took her shoes off.

Chris kept trying to take the flammable body spray away from me, so I hid it in her shoe. a little while later, out of playful spite; Chris tossed one of her shoes in the pit.

The next day Renna went back home, it was hard.. we had agreed to a long distance relationship. she would come visit for the weekend every two weeks. Upon her return she got her old job back, and moved back in with her parents. Her parents found out she was dating a non native guy and demanded she never see him again.

About two months go by without seeing her. A long distance relationship was harder to endure than I had previously thought. We were so happy to see each other, but I could tell something was bugging her. Later that night she told me she had been seeing her childhood friend intimately for the last two months.

I was heartbroken but I didn't show it, I acted like i was disappointed but understanding. On the inside I wanted to die. I still talked to her, but over the next few months it was less and less frequent. One day she just stopped calling me. And just like that I was back to zero.
