I look at the blood-red letters in perfect cursive on Joshua's chest, and I stand frozen, wondering when Joshua's madness will pass.
I simply can't believe he got a tattoo with my name on the left side of his chest above his heart.
"My God!" I stop in front of him and look at my name on his body. A tattoo is forever, does he know that? "Joshua, you know this won't come off your skin, right?"
He nods, smiling.
"Eve, you are the love of my life, the only one. I want to make a permanent statement, and a tattoo seemed like a good idea. Didn't you like it?"
I lightly touch the tattoo over the plastic. Joshua is crazy, and despite being stunned by his attitude, I can't deny that I liked it.
"Hmm, I think I liked it."
"You think?"
"I think so, it's just that... What if it doesn't
