Hayley Beep Beep Beep I jumped up at the sound of my alarm clock,its annoying because I loved my sleep but I guess I gotta go to hell today, the worst place to be. I showered,got dressed then brushed my brown hair carefully then looked in the mirror,"guess its time to be roadkill "I muttered before getting my bag and leaving my room. Mom and Dad were in the kitchen, she was cooking breakfast while he drank his coffee,"morning" I say softly "morning sweetheart, did you sleep well?" Dad asks "yeah,I guess,but that stupid alarm clock woke me up" I huff,Mom chuckles handing me a plate with waffles and chocolate syrup,I grin "thanks mom". I grabbed my cupcake from the batch then left,skipping down the steps,I looked at the clouds,looks like it's gonna rain today, a car honked and I looked down,my best friend Drake,he's so gay,he grins "finally" he waves as I walked to the car, I roll my eyes getting in "can't you just say,good morning?" I ask him,his usual smirk etched his face,I took a time to look at his dressing,nice fitted jeans,a white T-shirt that hugged his muscles,not to brag but my best friend was smoking, his brunette hair in a nice style, "if your done gawking sweety,can we go?" Drake asks, I shrugged as he smiles starting the car. Hayley Graham here,not much to say,I'm seventeen, I have brown hair and green eyes with brown strikes,don't know how I got them, just born with them I guess. I'm a really smart girl,sassy but I know my books,I've got one best friend, Drake Newman,a rich brat that acts like he's crazy, but his boyfriend seems to love that about him,don't know how I put up with his craziness. "Hey Hayley,guess what?" Drake asks walking next to me as I walked to my locker "what?" I ask "nothing", I gaped at the dude before punching him,he laughs hugging me "you're like my very own virtual pet" "hey!", he laughs leaning against a locker,I opened mine,revealing a million pictures of me and Drake together, both goofy and fun, "what will I do without you?" Drake asks softly,I looked up at him "don't worry about that,I'm here now aren't I?" I ask and he smiles nodding, "come on,it's time for class" "don't remind me". Kace Josh threw a book at me,it hit me in the forehead,finally bringing me sober,"thank you best friend" I praise hitting my head with the book and yelling,I shouldn't have drank so much last night but I was tempted. Josh grabbed the book then gave me a hard punch,I fell off the chair, "dude!" I yell getting up "finally,your okay right?" he asks,I shook my head at the weirdo "I'm fine,thank you" I answer then sat back in the chair, we were the first ones to class because I was dying slowly,I wouldn't have been here if Josh hadn't dragged me,"good". The class started to get crowdy,a few girls giggling as they pass me,I flash them my signature smile,"stop playing with those girls"Ashley says,I looked her "hey" I wave at my other best friend, she rolls her eyes "you should be dead" Ashley mutters "wow Ash,that hurt" I taunt, she shrugs turning to her brother, who was distracted, I followed his eyes to his lifelong crush,Drake Newman,geez,I've told Josh fifty times to just talk to the guy but no,he's scared,to say he's my best friend and scared to talk to one guy is embarrassing. Josh is gay and his sister was bisexual, their parents support their choices, and so do I, but my mom would kill me if I was like them, although she loves them also. "Kace Porters?" Mr.Thomas asks "here" I answer,everyone looked at me shocked,I shrugged "what storm Kace?" "be glad for the privilege Sir,I might not be here Tuesday", he nods and Josh punched me,I laughed it off because its his usual thing to do,Josh doesn't really talk to people, he's not very friendly and is always on his phone,his sister Ashley,she's kinda the same but because we are the most popular kids in school,Ashley has many friends,I've just got just two,plus a few people I talk to. Mom eyed me carefully as I bit the pizza,I looked at her for the millionth time,"do you have a girlfriend Jay?" Mom asks me,she calls me Jay because my middle name is Jaxon,after my father. Josh and Ashley coughed "uh......yeah" I lied scratching the back of my neck, her eyes twinkled,Josh covered his mouth with his hand in amusement, I shot him a look,"really?,can I meet her?" "sure,why not?" "I've always wanted to see you with a nice girl, that would make me happy, knowing you had someone to take care of you when I'm gone", see there,she used my weakness, I'm screwed. We were at school and my friends were still being the way they are. Ashley laughed holding onto her brother who seems to be doing the same thing,"man,stop laughing" I scold, they both look at me "right,do you really have a girlfriend?" Josh asks "no,you know that" "then why didn't you say so?" "you guys saw her eyes", they stopped laughing "want one of mine?" Ashley asks, I gave her a look "no you slut" I say and she shrugs "worth a try w***e" "you know a million girls dude,just pick one" "no Josh,she has to be perfect, so my mom would love her" "you're right,but how will you find one?", I shrugged,I can't lie to my mom,but I already did so now I've gotta make it believable. Drake laughed at something, which means Josh was gawking,and I was right,I looked at him in sympathy "poor guy" Ashley says softly "yeah" I answer, someone bumped into me and I turned around looking down,"are you serious?"the girl asks "excuse me?" Ashley asks "you bumped into him" Josh says "yeah,because he was standing in my way,I wasn't blind you retard!" the girl says with so much attitude Ashley was ready to smack her,I was amused because she was beautiful, like no girl I've ever seen. She looks up at me "will you just move?!", I moved out of her way and she walked away huffing a finally, Drake chuckles stopping "sorry about Hayley, she's a bit cranky today" he says,Josh was probably drooling, no lie,this guy was hot,don't judge me,my best friend is gay,so I have to give him advice, "its fine,just tell her to watch her mouth" Ashley says "she's a sweet kid,just has a few loose screws" "Drake?!" Hayley calls impatiently,I looked at her "well,gotta go" Drake chuckles,he threw Josh a soft smile before walking to his friend. "What're you thinking?" Josh asks "I want her" "why?,she's got no manners" "no,she doesn't,but she's perfect", they look at me weirdly but I knew what I was talking about. Hayley "So?" Drake asked eyeing my cupcakes,I look at him "so?" I ask "what's it gonna take to get one of those?" he asks,I thought "let's see,a ticket to never, a plane ride to gonna and oh look,you reached happen,now you're finally home on never gonna happen planet" I smile, his head drops and I laughed handing him one,his eyes sparkled and I smile, I loved cupcakes, no matter which one. Drake yanked his hair,he's trying to remember something, "okay,so you know that guy Kace Porters?" Drake asks,I roll my eyes,"of course,that jerk was in my way yesterday"I answer remembering my encounter with the school's bad boy,his friends seemed to not like my attitude and I seemed to not care,"well he was asking about you today"he answers shrugging "why?" I ask "don't know but he wants to talk to you" "and I will ignore him". Josh stopped at my locker,I eyed him "you know Kace has been meaning to talk to you" he says and I shrugged "I've been meaning to avoid him" I answer before walking away,seriously,every time Kace sees me,I turn away from him and walk away,I'm not apologizing. Ashley sat behind me,Josh sat in front and Kace isn't here,"just hear him out"Ashley says,I turn to her in disbelief "hello,I recall you wanting to jump at me" I say and she smiles "my honest apologies sweety,I was having a bad day"Ashley says, "so was I, no thank you"I replied, I turn back to my book and ignored them for the whole class,why do they even want me to talk to him. Everyone was leaving,when I was about to leave, the door closed,Kace looked at me "I'm not apologizing" I say raising an eyebrow "I heard, but that's not what I wanna talk to you about", I watched him cautiously. "Have you lost your mind?!" I ask harshly, he wants me to be his girlfriend, more like fake girlfriend so his mom would be happy, "come on please" Kace begged "no,I won't, do you know how much messed up my life is?, I don't need you to add to it" "please Hayley,I promise to do anything you want", I hate promises,"why do you need me?" I looked at Kace from his side,we were heading to his house, it's because of his mom why I'm doing this,if it was anything else, I wouldn't have done it,"you're not nervous are you?" Kace's house,was enormous,, like really huge,no wonder he's such a bad boy,he's loaded,even hid car looks like it has its own estate, there was a huge fountain in the middle of the driveway,"nice dog house" I snort "can you just be nice for once?" "no jerk, you bumped into me yesterday and didn't say sorry" "me?,you can't be serious" "like the plague sweety", he gaped at me before getting out of the car,I got out also,I can't believe I agreed to this. The door opened,revealing a lady with a huge smile,she looked exactly like Kace,she was gorgeous, how can she look so gorgeous and be sick?, "Jay,you're home early" she says kissing his cheek,he smiles "hey mom", she let us in before closing the door, inside was even more huge,man these people are rich,"mom,this is Hayley......my girlfriend" Kace says "hi,its finally nice to meet you,I'm Klara", I smile softly "hi,I thought he'd never let me meet you,thought I was his secret" I say glancing at Kace,yeah,he sold his soul to me,Klara chuckles "really?,well how could he hide you, you're so adorable, I love your eyes" "thanks,I love your dress", she laughs "I thought about throwing it out after this" "don't, it matches your eyes,its cute", up till now Kace was silent, I smile in satisfaction. Klara asks me "well,I accidentally bumped into him,asked if he was blind then we sorta argued,now here we are" I answer earning a look from Kace,I kicked his foot,we were seated at the table, don't know how I ended up having dinner with them,"I'm just glad I met her,I probably would've fallen for some slut"Kace says "I'm glad you didn't,she's a gem", damn,this lady got me blushing like a stripper on fortnight. "Bye Hayley" Klara waves as Kace opened my door,I wave "bye Klara,it was nice meeting you" "you too hun", Kace was silent,"what's wrong?" Drake buzzed in my ear,"what?" I ask miserably "Harry and I had a fight last night" he says softly,I looked at him "why?" I ask "he thinks I'm cheating on him" "that's stupid, you love him" "yeah,I don't wanna lose him Hayles"his eyes watered and mine softened at my best friend's state,his boyfriend was in college, the two make the cutest couple but Harry is so stupid,"hey,I'll talk to him for you" "don't bother" he spat sniffing "what?, why?" I ask "yes please", I smile giving him a cupcake, my mom bakes them for me so I get about five each day, Drake never allows me to eat all five alone,I hope Harry doesn't break up with him. I hung up looking at Drake,"come on,just talk to him,he sounds really sorry" "good,that's his problem", I can't really force him till he's calmed down about it. Klara smiles "hey Klara" I wave "hey Hayley", Kace looked at his mom "mom?" "what?, I see you everyday boy, shut up", I snort before kissing his cheek "don't worry, I missed you for the whole day" "awe,I missed you too baby",I think I'm gonna be sick,"you two are so cute together, I need a rag" Klara says wiping her eyes then walking away,okay,this is too much, "come on" Kace says pulling me behind him,I huffed following. His room was unbelievably neat, for a jerk like him,his room is clean, "nice room,who cleans it?" I ask "me" he answers "yeah,for real who?" "me,will you stop being so mean to me" "you're mean to people,now you get a bully", he reached out to grab me but I moved, almost falling, Kace pulled me up quickly,he lost his balance and we both fell on his bed,not how I wanted my day to end,"you should've just let me fall" I mutter looking up at his gray eyes,his eyes looked wild, "mom would break my neck for you, you're crazy" he answers looking down at me,I roll my eyes "get off me","Jay?", he kissed me, it took every strength in my body to kiss him back because if his mom wasn't coming, I'd have punched him, "oh" Klara says and we look at her "sorry,I heard something hit somewhere", yeah,my foot hit the bed and I'm gonna hit your son,"oh,we were just playing" I smile sweetly, she smiles "okay, I'll be downstairs" "okay", she closed the door and I shoved Kace to the floor,"jerk" "you liked it" "yeah right,I can't believe you did that" "its done already,be nice to the guy that got your first kiss", I threw a pillow at him and he laughs getting up. Kace is such a jerk, he's crazy and has so many girls,he's bound to get an STD or a few. Drake and I walked out of the school to his car,a jeep pulled up that we both knew all too well,Harry got out with a hard look,the muscular boy looking at both of us,Drake didn't even look at him,"we need to talk" Harry says "no we don't" "Drake just go,I'll walk home" "but-" "go,I'll be fine", he sighs "fine", Harry got in his own car and Drake got in his, both of them leaving, one after the other,they both loved each other a lot, but things aren't working out perfectly at the moment, Harry thinks Drake's cheating and Drake knows Harry's cheating, but being the hard headed guy he is, ignores it. A hand slipped around my waist,I look up at Kace in annoyance "don't touch me" I snap and he smirks "why not babe?" "Kace,please refrain from calling me that on school grounds" "but its fun", I shove away from him and walked away,I'm starting to get fed up by this relationship thing, although its fake, I'm rethinking it. "just asking, thought it was just something in your eye", he smiles and I use my index finger to call him closer, he leans closer "I'll be nice to you if that girl stops staring" I whisper on his lips,he glanced at her "jealous?" "hardly,in your dreams",he smiles caressing my cheek with his thumb "you know you're catching feelings for me Hayles" "in what universe?", I looked into his eyes, this is way beyond everything I agreed to,Kace chuckles lowly biting my bottom lip, Drake is gonna kill me "she's gone" Ashley says and we move apart, "wow,you two actually looked like a cute couple" Josh comments "like I'd ever date this jerk" "and you're still mean, wow".
