Jason's hands raked over my body, pulling my hips against his before he ran his fingers through my hair, weaving them into the nape of my neck as he pulled me into a passionate kiss. His hand made its way down to my thigh as he began to hitch up my skirt. Suddenly, what had started off feeling so right began to feel so wrong. "Hey... Wait..." I murmured through heavy breaths. He ignored me though, as his hand now made its way into the waistband of my panties, trying to inch them down. "No... Please... I don't want to," my voice now beginning to sound a little panicked. My brain kept trying to make sense of what was happening, convincing me that I was overreacting. This was all just a misunderstanding and he would stop any moment now. I grabbed at his prying hand, pushing it away, only for him to grab my wrists, holding them firmly against the wall above my head. "Please stop," I begged again, my voice soft and weak. "Come on, this is what you wanted, right? Why else would you be here?" he whispered innocently in my ear. He adjusted his grip to free one of his hands, allowing it to explore my body once again before hitching up my skirt once more. I was still pinned helplessly to the wall. "Please... I changed my mind," I begged with tears in my eyes, but he ignored them. I felt my stomach flutter and my heart began to pound furiously as his fingers found the waistband of my panties again. I struggled against his grip, but I was no match for the varsity football star. Tears ran down my cheeks as he tugged at my panties, ripping them off impatiently. Suddenly, his hands released me as he was hoisted up in the air and slammed against the wall beside me. I gasped in surprise. "I'm sure I heard her telling you to stop," a gruff voice snarled. I wiped the tears from my eyes only to reveal a man with jet-black hair holding Jason up against the wall by his collar. Now I suggest you f**k off before I fail you and tell your parents about your deplorable behavior," the man spat. He dropped Jason to the ground, who stood there, unmoving, in a stunned stupor. The man then rounded on me, his steel gray eyes piercing into my soul as my heart felt like it might explode from my chest. "You! In my office! Now!" he ordered, gesturing at me and then pointing down the hallway. I had no idea where his office was, but I wasn't about to ignore his instructions. The man oozed authority and I felt compelled to obey. I awkwardly picked up my ripped panties, avoiding eye contact with Jason who watched in shock as I shuffled down the hallway wiping tears from my eyes with my mysterious savior close in tow. We walked a short way down the hall before he boomed, "The door on the left," seemingly aware that I didn't know who he was or where I was going. I stepped into the office and stood there awkwardly near the door with my ripped panties balled up in my fist as I tried to hide them, embarrassed. He stalked in behind me and slammed the door, staring at me with a mixture of curiosity and fury. "Thank you," I murmured softly, wiping a tear from my cheek. He was still staring at me and I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze. My eyes caught the nameplate on his desk, Prof. Alexander Blake, Criminal Psychology. He was a professor here then. He took a deep breath before he asked, "What the f**k were you thinking?! Why would you attend such a stupid event?! Are you trying to get yourself assaulted?! Do you know what would have happened if I hadn't intervened?!" he yelled furiously. "I do, and I'm grateful that you came when you did," I whispered, meaning every word as I looked down feeling ashamed and embarrassed for being so naive. He huffed a little in frustration before his look softened. "I'm sorry," he muttered, "I was just worried about you. I thought I might be too late... Was I too late?" he asked, suddenly looking perplexed. I shook my head, mortified by the implication as my cheeks burned red. He considered me for a moment before asking, "Do you feel it?" his tone was now curious. "Feel what?" I asked, uncertain what he was referring to. "The butterflies... The pull..." he explained. I thought for a moment before replying, "I feel something. I figured it was just the adrenaline from when Jason... When he..." I trailed off, not wanting to finish that sentence. He took a step toward me, towering over me imposingly with a smirk playing on his lips as he whispered down into my ear, "Mate..."
