Maya’s POV
Diane and Natasha decided to spend the weekend with Alex and I. I didn’t like the idea of it at first because o thought that it was going to be weird having to go about with my daily activities with them around.
But, the weekend was going better than I had thought, I wasn’t awkward or nervous around them. They made me feel so loved and relaxed around them, I even almost beat myself up for thinking that they would be weird to me.
I spent most of the day with them, cooking together, going to relax at the spa and listening to the endless stories Diane had to tell about Alex’s childhood.
I felt like I truly belonged, it was such an amazing feeling for me to feel loved and respected and I wouldn’t have my situation any other way.
