❤ Jessica’s POV ❤
I left the store a few minutes after 5 pm. I don’t stay to hang out in the store anymore, because my son is waiting for me. Besides, none of the other girls other than Wanda speak to me outside work, so there is really no reason for me to stay.
When I got out of the store, I was surprised to see Cedrick leaning on a car outside the store. I stopped for a bit and said “Dr. Man– uhm, Cedrick? What are you doing here?”
Cedrick: “I was waiting for you.”
Jessica: “What? Why?”
Cedrick: “Get in. Let’s talk in the car.”
I was worried that one of my co-workers would see me talking to Cedrick outside the store, so I got in the car as he asked. I was surprised and froze when Cedrick reached over. I sighed in relief when I realize that he was just putting the seatbelt on me.
