Chapter 5

Melissa and Abby retired to their maid's chamber in the workers’ residence after a long day of work in the mansion.

“I like Mia ” Melissa giggled as she held Abby’s shoulder bag to get her attention

“I don't hate her”, Abby responded, but Melissa got the message immediately.

“You don't hate her, but that doesn't mean you like her” Melissa tried to get some words out of Abby

“You guys are talking about the new mistress, right?” Lucy jumped into their conversation.

“They are married, you know, right?” Melissa added.

“It's clear that he doesn't feel a thing for her. She looks so naive too, annoying as hell”, Abby finally said

“Wow, Abby...” Melissa started but stopped almost immediately as Madam Eva walked into the maid chamber with Lilian and Gabdo

“I wonder what Lilian did this time, always challenging Madam Eva,” Nadia thought loudly.

“Well Madam Eva is too bossy” Abby replied quickly with a whisper

“Good evening girls” Gabdo greeted the girls with a warm smile

“I want to declare openly on behalf of Mr. Blake that Lilian has been promoted to head of staff and you all are obligated to do as she says”

Eva curves her lips forming a smile at the corner of her lip but sorrow within her soul.

Gabdo excused himself as he officially handed everything to Lilian

“Eva will be coming down to the regular maid chamber tomorrow. Be nice” Lilian laughs then leaves

The announcement leaves every staff stunned and short of words, Lillian could be head of staff but Eva can't just be a regular maid

Lilian gets a call from Rose

“Sir Blake is busy now. Your meeting has been rescheduled” Rose informs Lilian

“Please, I need to speak with him. It's urgent” Lilian pleads

“He has a wife now, so go away” Rose barks.

“Assign all your housemaids to the main building tomorrow. Some things are to be adjusted for the new Mrs. Anderson”.

Rose orders as she tosses her hair almost on Lilian’s face and walks to the workers’ residence

“I’ll show you the real face behind Mrs. Anthony soon,” Angry Lilian says to the stars as she walks towards the main building.

“Please go away”. Mia answers the knock on her door while she soaked her mattress with tears

“It’s your aunt, open this door now” Lilian commands and meek Mia does as she says.

“I want to believe this is his c*m from your wedding night drama” Dirty Lilian reacts to her wet bed

“Good evening to you too”Mia replied to her aunty in a hostile manner.

“It’s all done. The earlier you start getting used to it, the better for you”. Lilian smiles

“You sold me to this monster. Why aunt, why?” Mia asked with tears rolling down her cheeks.

“I did it for your own good, you little brat! How dare you?” Lilian barks at Mia.

“You never had my interest in mind, Aunty. You did all this for yourself!” Mia cries more as she realizes that this is the dawn of her life.

“I am not here to exchange words with you and I won’t have you talk to me in that way,” Lilian said sternly.

“You will do as I say,” she continued, after a minute of deafening silence.

“You must seal this marriage with an offspring as soon as possible,” Lilian said with seriousness in her eyes

“I don’t know Aunty”, Mia replied.

“What do you mean you don’t know and why are you staying in this diminutive bedroom like this,” Lilian asks desperately

“I found myself here after the wedding” Mia replied.

Lilian looked at her with disbelief... “What do you mean by finding yourself here?”

She raises her head. “You gave me to a lunatic, a man who sees me like dust. I'm of no value to him.”

Lilian puts her hand on her jaw while lost in her thought

“Well, you are the billionaire’s wife and what you want is what would be done, you are already here and you must find a way to make him have s*x with you... I mean the kind of s*x that would make him forget Kim and every feeling he has left for her, make him fall head over the hill for you”

The door unlocked and they could see a shadow...

“Excuse me, ma’am,” Lucy said.

“What? What do you want?” Lilian yelled while I supported her head with her hand.

“I'm sorry ma, your husband asked me to get you.”

She said, trembling in fear.

“What do you mean by getting you?” she asked, feeling anxious.

Mrs. Lilian tapped her arm in disagreement and signaled Lucy to leave.

“Go to him since he asked to see you, he might want you both to get along,” she said in an encouraging tone.

Mia looks at her Aunt with disbelief and yells.

“I won't! He doesn't like me, he treats me like a piece of garbage he picked up from the roadside into his home… I won't.

She kneels as she broke down in tears.

Lilian grabbed her by her hair while lifting her and whispered to her

“Listen to me, you do not have an option. You are here already and you can't back out now! Embrace yourself now, take your bath, wear the most seductive nightwear you possess, and look like a goddess now!

Her heart ached as she moved into the bathroom unable to control her tears and crying her eyes out.

She got changed and headed to Blake’s room upstairs. She knocks at the door. He gives no response as she walks into the master’s bedroom of her matrimonial home with fear in her heart. The room was very dark and the aura that it carried was cold and mean, the silence was intimidating and scary.

“Good evening sir” Mia greeted her husband in a trembling voice when his phone lit up as a series of notifications popped in.

The silence became more deafening after her greeting, “why did he call me”? she thought to herself as she stood in a place with the fear of the unknown.
