Hi, I’m Luna
Chapter 1-
Luna sprinted through the snow-covered forest, her feet pounding against the frozen ground. Elijah, her Beta, chased after her, his freckled face twisted in a smirk.
"Where are you running off to again?" Thane asked, his voice laced with amusement.
Luna didn't respond, her eyes fixed on the trees ahead. She was tired of her father's constant meddling in her life, tired of being forced into dates with Omegas who were weak and powerless.
Elijah caught up to her, his arm wrapping around her waist. "You can't keep running away from your father, Sasha."
Luna spun around, her eyes blazing with anger. "I'm not running away, Elijah. I'm running towards something better."
Elijah's smirk faltered, and for a moment, Luna saw a glimmer of something else in his eyes. Something that looked almost like... longing.
But it was quickly replaced by his usual smirk. "You're going to get yourself killed one of these days."
Luna rolled her eyes and took off again, Elijah hot on his heels. They ran until they reached the castle, where Luna's father, Alpha Vega, was waiting for her.
His eyes were blazing with anger, and Luna could smell the scent of blood on him. "Where were you, girl?" he growled.
Luna's heart skipped a beat as she realized that something was terribly wrong. "I... I was just out for a run, Father."
Alpha Vega's face twisted in rage. "Don't lie to me, Luna! Even if you didn't like him, you didn't have to kill him!"
Luna's eyes widened in horror as she realized what her father was accusing her of. "What are you talking about, Father? I didn't kill anyone!"
But Alpha Vega just laughed, a cold, menacing sound. "We'll see about that. Elijah, take her to her room and make sure she doesn't leave until I come for her."
Elijah's eyes met Luna's, and for a moment, she thought she saw a glimmer of rebellion there. But then his face smoothed out, and he nodded. "Yes, Alpha."
As Elijah dragged her away, Luna realized that she was in grave danger. She had no idea what her father was talking about, but she knew she had to get to the bottom of it. And fast.
Luna's mind was racing with questions. Who had she supposedly killed? And why was her father so convinced of her guilt?
As she was dragged to her room, Luna caught a glimpse of Aurora, her nurse, watching from the shadows. Aurora's eyes were filled with a mixture of concern and warning.
Luna's heart sank. She knew that she was in trouble. Big trouble.
Elijah pushed her into her room and slammed the door shut behind her. Luna heard the sound of the lock clicking into place, and she knew she was trapped.
She paced back and forth across her room, her mind racing with thoughts of escape and revenge. She had to get out of there, had to clear her name and find out what was really going on.
And then, she heard the sound of footsteps outside her door. Heavy, deliberate footsteps that seemed to be coming closer and closer.
Luna's heart was racing as she backed away from the door, her eyes fixed on the handle as it slowly turned.
The door creaked open, and a figure loomed in the doorway. Luna's eyes widened as she took in the sight of her father, Alpha Vega, standing in the entrance of her room.
His eyes were blazing with anger, and his face was twisted in a snarl. Luna knew that she was in grave danger, and she prepared herself for the worst.
But as she looked into her father's eyes, Luna saw something there that gave her pause. Something that looked almost like... fear.
And then, everything went black.
